Highlights
- Wachirathan Falls - Visit the beautiful Wachirathan waterfall, one of the highlights of Doi Inthanon National Park and the most impressive of all the waterfalls in Chiang Mai. Because of the incredible height, the waterfall creates a mist in the surrounding, making it a picturesque sight. Together with the mossy rocks and emerald water it gives this place a magical atmosphere. There’s a colorful rainbow appearing in front of the waterfall every time the sun is shining through the mist which makes it a very photogenic spot.
The duration included traveling time from Chiangmai to Doi Inthanon.

During this excursion, we usher you to Doi Inthanon, fondly named the ‘Roof of Thailand’, crowned as the country’s highest peak at an elevation of 2.565 meters. Immerse yourself in a daylong tour, laden with the most spectacular natural scenes surrounding Northern Thailand’s tallest peak. The itinerary includes visiting a striking waterfall, an indigenous hill tribe settlement, the breathtaking twin King and Queen Royal Pagodas and a serene nature trail walk leading to Thailand’s apex.
PLEASE NOTE THAT GROUPS ARE LIMITED TO 10 PARTICIPANTS.
- The Royal Twin Pagodas are a religious site, so dress respectfully. Avoid wearing flip-flops, revealing tops and cover your shoulders and knees.
- We advise to wear proper walking shoes and long pants. During winter time (Nov-Feb) bring a jacket or sweater, since it can be really cool up in the mountains this time of the year.
- Maximum number of participants per group is 10 persons.

Beautiful! - Stunningly beautiful! If you have a free day in Chiang Mai and want to visit the mountains, you should definitely check this out. Tik was an amazing tour guide and was very personable and funny! It was raining during our entire tour but he still made it a fun experience.

Trip To Doi Inthanon and Local Communities - Tik was an excellent guide. He was professional, yet friendly and knowledgeable. I am a lover of nature and history, and he shared plenty of information about both. I particularly enjoyed the visit to the White Karen community. Going forward, I will definitely refer friends to WanderSiam when they're ready to take a tour.

Experience around chiang mai - Malee was a wonderful guide and we had an amazing time. You see so much in relatively short time. The walks along the waterfalls and the nature trail is beautiful. Pagodas and Park depends on the weather… we went in rainy season-so no view. But we definetly recommend this tour, especially to see nature around chiang mai. Place for lunch was wonderful too and good food. Thanks!

Amazing all-day tour - The national park was amazing. The tour guide was super friendly and spoke English well and explained the history of the tribes that live in the park. Highly recommended.

Great day out - Had a great day out.... the waterfalls were really nice, and it was a small group (4 of us only) which was nice in terms of getting to know each other. The pagodas were a little foggy but still got good pictures, and they are sooo pretty. Maylee, our guide, was so helpful and knowledgeable as well!

Great tour around the national park - Not my first time booking a tour with WanderSiam and I had a wonderful experience this time as well. Tik was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. I really enjoyed this tour as I got to enjoy the nature, learn more about people form hill tribes and see beautiful pagodas on top of the mountain.

Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon National park day tour - Tikky is great! He is super patient and has a great has of humour. He is also quite informative of the culture and told us stories. He’s not the type that talks non stop, but enough to keep us interested.
