- Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara - Wat Chedi Luang Varavihara Wat Chedi Luang, this temple is the site of an enormous pagoda, originally 280 feet high, and which was partially destroyed by an earthquake in 1545. At one time, Wat Chedi Luang housed the revered Emerlad Buddha image now enshrined in Bangkok’s Wat Phra Kaew. One of Wat Chedi Luang’s most striking architectural features is a magnificent Naga staircase adorns the chapel’s front.

Great tour, great tour guide - Wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend this tour. The mountain was much cooler than the city and broke up the tour which helped keep the boys from getting temple fatigue.

Phenomenal Cultural tour of Chiang Mai - Oola was our tour guide and she was AMAZING!! Not only did we see the sites, but I feel like I learned so much about Thailand, its history and Buddhism. We asked to stop for a coffee and she took us to unbelievable tiny shop with the best coffee I’ve had here so far. Just a well paced and super informative tour. 11 out of 10!

Great way to see the temples in an afternoon - Guide Ulala was very good and kind. Beautiful temples. View from Don Suthep not great because of burning season smog.

Great way to explore a few temples outside of the city - Almost had a private tour, Som and Mim were great tour guides, lots of information also freedom to roam not rushed at all. Overall very friendly and relaxed experience.

Doi Suthep Tour - Well worth going for the private tour as we did but the small group tours are fine. They all use a 9 seater air conditioned minibus and they are comfortable.
Our guide was excellent and we could not have asked for more. A well thought out itinerary and good pace, plenty of time to look around at each stop.

Beyond My Expectations - What a great experience from start to finish. Our guide (spelling might be wrong) Uh La La, met us at the hotel right on time. She was superb the entire day can’t say enough good things about her. We went on a small van. There was only the two of us, but it looks like the vans will hold 12 people, so that’s the biggest the group would be. We went to three temples, all of them were amazing.

Tour guide average - Driver was great and drove carefully.
Guide came in frustrated and kept rushing us from the start of the tour. She was already frustrated and came with an attitude in the morning which made it very difficult for us to enjoy. Due to the traffic and crowd, the tour got longer than normal 4 hours which made her more irritable.
