Patal Bari - This beautiful mansion is partially submerged in the Hooghly river. ‘Patal Bari’ translates to ‘the underground house.’ Notable features include intricately carved wooden sunshades and water outlets. The most poignant statue in the complex is the marble figure of Mother of Sorrows holding the body of dead Jesus on her lap, evoking deep emotions.
