- Bukit Elephant Park - All visitors will observe natural behaviors of the elephants from a distance under guide’s and mahout’s instructions for everyone’s safety. They will also learn about their fascinating history and their habits from our professional guides. The visitors will be able to feed the food to the elephants at a safe feeding areas with a fence between elephants and visitor. The guides, mahouts, and staff will closely be there with you to make sure that you feed them correctly and safely. Last but not least, they will learn about rubber tapping and rubber sheet making demonstration, which is a rare Thai traditional culture. During the tour, we do not allow any physical or verbal violence to our elephants in order to protect everyone’s safety and our elephant’s welfare. Moreover, we let our elephants walk freely in the park without the disturbance or any disruption from visitors at all. No loud noises allowed in the park. No drones, No flash photography allowed. Boots will be provided during rainy season. This is a mini guided tour program available at the following time 09.00-11.00 (morning) 11.00-13.00 (late) 14.00-16.00 p.m. (afternoon)

We work with professional mahouts to take care of elephants and refrain from any forms of cruelty. Since you are in Thailand, we would like you to learn a little bit of Thai culture. The journey will take you to get an authentic experience of traditional Thai culture through activities like rubber tapping, making coconut milk, and Thai food cooking sessions. Amazing experience - The Elephant park was amazing, the staff were very knowledgeable and engaging. We wanted to visit an ethical park and this is what we got. The elephants are rescued and well cared for, we got to see them in their natural habitat, eating, swimming and walking around.
Beautiful. The park also had umbrellas which are a must, very hot.

Ethical and informative - A lovely walk in the jungle with some beautiful elephants, while learning about them feom a very informative guide. We were very happy to support the Bukit Elephant Sanctuary.
If you want to see elephants in Phuket, this is the way to do it.

An Unforgettable Elephant Experience at Bukit Elephant Park - If you’re visiting Bukit Elephant Park, the Mini Elephant Nature Tour is an absolute must. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip.
Our guide, Sarah, was phenomenal. She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly cares deeply about the elephants. Throughout the tour she shared the rescue stories of each elephant, their personalities, and how they came to live safely at the park. Hearing those stories made the experience so much more meaningful.
Getting to meet the elephants up close, take photos with them, and watch them interact naturally was unforgettable. You can really tell the team here prioritizes the elephants’ wellbeing while also educating visitors about conservation and ethical care.
Sarah made the whole tour engaging, fun, and informative — we learned so much and left with a deeper appreciation for these amazing animals. If you’re in the area, don’t miss this experience. It’s a beautiful opportunity to connect with elephants while supporting a place that truly cares for them. Highly recommend!

Very good tour of rescued elephants - A well organised tour. We were picked up on time , and went on a walk with the guide. There were a range of children’s ages.
They all enjoyed hearing about the elephants, their favourite was when they went into the water.
There was shade for the group, and it was long enough for the 2 & 4 yo.
I liked the fact there was no forced activities.

Rescued elephants - We are deeply impressed by the work of the Sanctuary in rescuing elephants from being mistreated, locked, hooked and chained. The tour guide was professional, providing us with the details, story of each elephant.

Beautiful experience of knowing the animal - Located a short distance from Phuket town easily accessible by car.
A competent Guide accompanies you with love and care to discover the good giant.
You don't swim, they don't like it very much because they move so much when they're in the water and if they have people around they can't do it
You can take pictures with them, give a caress to some of them and hug the trunk to one very friendly specimen.
All animals saved by tracking. And your money contributes to that. Pay the rescued elephants.

Staged Elephants, Crowded with inefficient transportation. - Staged elephants, crowded and awful transportation.
While I appreciate the rescue of the elephants, the elephants felt staged based on where Bukit placed the food and that they were just trained to be on display.
The tour was also very crowded and the shared bus transportation was massively disrupted inefficient. We spent an extra 2 hours in the van driving between beach towns that were not close to each other. We booked 1.5 hour event. Left our hotel at 8am and didn’t get back until 1230.
