• Fortaleza de Kuelap - The tour to the remarkable pre-Inca citadel of Kuelap will commence at 9:00 am. Departing from the main square of Chachapoyas, the journey will take us through the stunning Uctubamba valley for about an hour until reaching the center of Nuevo Tingo.

Upon arrival, the tour will proceed to the Telecabinas Kuélap (Cable Car) boarding station. The cable car ride lasts approximately 20 minutes, offering breathtaking views of the beautiful Andean landscape. Once the cable car arrives at La Malca, a 25-minute walk will lead to the citadel of Kuelap.

A professional tour guide will provide a 3-hour tour of the archaeological site, sharing insights about the Chachapoyas people, the Kuelap fortress, and other fascinating facts about the area. This is an excellent chance to admire the largest pre-Inca archaeological site in South America!

After the tour, the cable cars will be boarded again for the return trip to the village of Tingo.
