Highly recommend Carlos and Francisco - Carlos, our amazing tour guide, gave a most interactive and sensorial guided tour complete with pictures, plants, species and archeology on both the ride there and our hike around the incredible ruins made it one to be forever remembered. Francisco, our van driver was friendly and accommodated by driving us to the beach for an hour for delicious lunch to cap it all off. Highly recommend this team at Toucan Tours!

Our tour guide Elios was... - Our tour guide Elios was the absolute BEST! The tour was amazing and very informational. The one down side, was due to time restraints from other passengers, we did not get to have the lunch that was included because they had to get back to the port for their departure. I did not feel like this was fair due to the fact that we paid for it and it was to be included. My group had more than enough time.

Overall, the excursion... - Overall, the excursion was good but there was a big problem with not being able to get in contact with the trip host. I sent emails, texts and called but did not get an answer. We needed to know when we had to meet and wanted to confirm exactly where because it was not very clear. We finalñy got in touch woth Toucan tours the morning of. There was a bit of trouble finding them through the maze of the stores in the cruise port but the lady was nice enough to navigate us through over the phone (we spoke spanish to her though, as she does not understand English). The tour guide for the ruins, Carlos was awesome, very good at his job and had a good sense of humor. The second part at the beach was a bit disappointing, the food was okay, but when I asked if they could give me a menu so I could choose what I wanted, the waiter said they did not have a menu, he insisted I could only choose from fajitas, tacos,or quesadillas (beef, chicken or I think fish) and would not hand me a menu. He said that is what is offered for our package and two alcoholic drinks but tbh, the drinks were not good and did not take like they had much alcohol at all. The driver was a very respectful, safe driver and very clean van too. They provided ample bottles of water. The company Toucan Tours overall was very good no complaints with them overall other then the lack of communication and meet up time confirmation.

The Mayan ruins were very interesting. Lunch at the beach was okay. But we had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour to other people.

Very disappointed. - We missed this tour due to a time change. We could have made it if we had been able to find our transportation. However the meeting location was not made clear to us.
