Bruno is like an encyclopedia - We did the historical and favelatour with bruno. Het t was wonderful and super interesting! Bruno knows many good stories. Will def recommend him.

Best tour in Rio!! - Amazing guy that realy tries to show the city how it really is. Not just boring explaining about what not, but a true guide of the city! Perfect English, and fun guy to be around. Can recommend!

Above and beyond. - Bruno went above and beyond. Telling us and showing us all the highlights in the centro of Rio. There’s no way we could’ve found all these hidden gems on our own. He knew the history and background of all the landmarks and spoke perfect English the entire time. We felt very safe and the 4 hour walking tour was not too much walking for my 6 months pregnant wife. Bruno was awesome. 10/10 recommend

Bruno Makes Rio Come Alive - I had experienced the beaches and caipirinhas, but after some time in Rio, I wanted to know more about the history of this enchanting city. Bruno and the Past to the Present tour was just what I needed.
Five minutes into the tour, I knew I was in the right hands. Bruno. was prepared with facts, trivia, intrigue that brought the city alive. He encouraged questions and provided well researched responses. Based on some questions, he knew my interests, and branched out to include other facts he might have otherwise not included.
For example, he shared a book of vintage now/then photos that compared certain historical spots in the city to modern day. His knowledge about how one of the hills was razed to increase the size of the city was fascinating.
I admired his passion, focus on details, depth of knowledge, and sensitivity to history that he brought to his subject matter.
You will not be disappointed with the tour. Bruno makes history come to life right before your eyes.

Fantastic Historical Walking Tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our walking tour with Bruno. He is knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of Rio. He did a great job of keeping our teenagers engaged.
The sites and churches he showed us were amazing. Time with Bruno is more than a tour, it is an experience!

Highly recommend! - Bruno is a fantastic guide with a clear knowledge and passion for the city. I was really impressed by his thoughtfulness, attention, passion, kindness, and comprehensiveness of the tour. You can definitely tell he has thought it out and is very thorough. This was my last day in Rio and I had already done several things, but still felt new! I saw places I had not seen yet and learned new things. Highly recommend and I wish I had more time to do additional tours with Bruno! Super friendly guy and a great way to spend a few hours!

Amazing Trip through Rio - We're currently traveling the world for 12 months and have recently participated in a few free walking tours. But the one with Bruno in Rio was the best, most impressive, and entertaining. He is unique in what he does, and he does it not as a job but as a vocation. Rio can be lucky to have such a guide.

Río de Janeiro past and present and Favela tour was an absolute cultural immersion. An experience I will never forget. - I did the Tour with Bruno and I was blown away!! Even before the tour Bruno reached out with information on restaurants and bars I may like to go to and offered assistance. The tour itself was fantastic, Bruno was a wealth of information about the history of Rio de Janeiro. The walking tour was great, it was to long nor too short but just right. As I was on my own Bruno helped with photos so that I would have plenty of memories. I mentioned the Favela tour as I was apprehensive doing that kind of tour not knowing what to expect. Bruno was kind enough to take me on the same day to do the Favela tour. I can’t thank him enough as a whole new world was shown to me on that tour. The experience was phenomenal, again all the information Bruno provided was fantastic, I learned so much, I highly recommend both tours and Bruno as your guide.

One of the best tours we ever did in one of the best cities in the world! - Bruno is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to connect with, and clearly loves what he does. He’s lived in the U.S. for 20 years, so his English is perfect, and he really understands travelers, customer service and what makes a great experience.
His city centre tour gave us a deep and very well rounded look into Rio’s history and culture! We were so happy & amazed by Bruno’s tour that we directly did a favela tour with him as well. The favela tour was respectful, eye-opening, super safe, and full of insight. Both tours are really excellent super informative and fun.
Bruno combines professionalism, warmth, and local expertise in a way that makes you feel both safe and inspired. Couldn’t recommend him more.

Bruno makes Rio Unforgettable - did both the City Centre and Favela tours with Bruno, and they were the absolute highlight of our trip to Rio. Bruno is the kind of guide every traveler hopes to find — incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, super friendly, and just fun to be around.
He’s from Rio but spent 20 years of his life in the US, so he speaks perfect English, truly understands what travelers are looking for, and knows how to make them happy. His mix of local insight and international perspective makes the experience feel seamless, engaging, and really personal.
The city centre tour gave us a deep dive into Rio’s rich history and culture (best possible option to discover the city especially if you have only one day), while the favela tour offered an eye-opening and respectful look into a part of the city most visitors never truly get to know. Both tours were around 4–6 hours, but time flew by. Bruno kept things informative, safe, and always entertaining.
If you want to discover Rio like a local — with someone who knows it inside out and genuinely loves sharing it — Bruno is the one. Highly recommended.
