Super day out at Etna - Excellent 9 hour trip. Walked up to craters. Guide explained types of rock and how Etna erupts. Then we had a tasting of spices, jams, wine and liqueurs. Went to a cave that spent over a hour in Taormini witch is very picturesque. Great value tour.

Woohoo Day Trip - It was a great way to spend the day. Our guide, Simone, was so knowledgeable and had every answer to even our most niche geological inquiries. So many options once you reach Mt. Etna, depending on your personality style. Would you rather cycle up the summit ? Go crazy on some ATVs on volcanic ash ? Or simply take it easy with a cable-car ride to the top ? One of the best features, however, was the sampling of Sicilian local foods—these people really known how to work a pistachio! Taormina was a nice, relaxing way to end the day. Quaint, tourist town with a plethora of bars and restaurants where you can try an icy Granita—try the pistachio one while overlooking the Roman Theatre !!!!

Balanced Day Out - Going up Etna a day after the eruption. The tasting and the lava cave were interesting and Taormina is very pretty.

It's worth it! - The trip was very nice! Eduardo was a great guide with a lot of interesting knowledge, not only about Etna but also about the whole region! He had an answer to all the questions. It was really a lot of fun with him!

Once in a lifetime experience - Amazing experience. Visiting Etna is something very unique (and was definitely very safe). The wine tasting was a very nice addition to the schedule and much needed after the shocking visit to Etna. The day closed with a short visit to a nice village with great views. This experience would not have been so great and successful if it hasn't been for our guide. Grazie mille Claudio!!!

A dream day - An exceptional day orchestrated by our guide Eduardo. We enjoyed the beauties of Mount Etna, discovered delicious local products, and fell in love with Taormina! All without having to worry about the journey, because the pick-up is at our doorstep. Everything was wonderful! Thanks again Eduardo!

Do it if you like to throw money away - What it says on the brochure: Visit of ancient extinct craters with trekking through the path; visit of a lava flow cave; tasting of typical products; panoramic stop to admire the beautiful island nature reserve from above; free visit of Taormina. What was actually done: He drove me to Rifugio Sapienza, with a van, a guy who drove like a moron, and spoke in 3 languages inaccuracies about volcanology and plate tectonics. I saw the ancient craters from the van window and the visit of the lava flow cave boh... they probably forgot. Arrived at Rifugio Sapienza we shelled out additional money for Cable Car and Guide (really competent). And then an hour and a half of tasting (at the end of the sale) of typical local products that the Famila of my city sells you at 1/4 of the selling price. That's fair enough... friends have to eat. At the end the visit of the city of Taormina: you are literally dumped in the middle of a street and told: the city begins them arranged; I did not even have time to eat. If I managed with my own means I saved 200€. Bad experience. To be sued for misleading advertising.
