Unique Vulcano Hiking Experience - We had a great experience with Giuseppe and his dear friend Federika. Both were very friendly and we had a lot of good talks. Giuseppe has a very deep understanding of the Vulcano and Federika was a great company. It was like a hiking trip with new friends 🙏🏻

Incredible Etna Experience! - The Mount Etna excursion with Sicily Unearthed led by Giuseppe was an incredible experience. I have hiked with him in both December and April and I learn so many things every time! The winter hike was full of snow that led to incredible scenery as we hiked up the volcano, and it was even more magical when it started snowing! The spring hike was warmer and just as awesome with some blooms along the trail. Giuseppe's knowledge of the history and scientific things of the volcano is exceptional. His love for nature and Etna shine through in this spectacular excursion. The views are fabulous as you stand at the top and can see the Etna towns below, the Mediterranean sea, the tallest point of Etna, and the craters all around. I really loved this excusion. You don't want to miss this experience!

A unforgettable day out. - We are so glad we booked our trip with Guiseppe at Sicily Unearthed as we had an unforgettable day at Mount Etna. The service was door-to-door, Giuseppe was knowledgeable and informative and put our comfort and safety first at all times. Engaging and good company for a personalised experience. The trip was worth every penny, and if you get the opportunity to book with this company, then take it.

Amazing experience - not to be missed - We had the best time climbing Etna with Giuseppe. It was an intimidate tour with a total of 4 of us. We were picked up right from our hotel in Ortigia and then driven up to start our climb at Etna. All the way there Giuseppe had so much knowledge to share with us. The actual climb up Etna is great and you feel like you’re doing it with no one else there because the route that you are taken on avoids all the massive crowds. Genuinely lovely day we enjoyed our climb up Etna very much and Giuseppe is genuinely fantastic company to have for the day. We’d go again!!!

Best tour in Sicilia - Our guide provided very interesting scientific and historic stories about Mount Etna and volcanology in general. Also about other interesting features of the landscape to and from Mount Etna. The vehicle was very comfortable all very fascinating. I had been to Aetna without a guide a few years ago, and the guided tour was far away, more informative, and interesting

exceptional Etna tour - Giuseppe is an excellent tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Etna dating back 500,000 years to the present. The path that he took us on is not technical, and he is aware of clients' climbing ability, stopping at the right times for a rest break. He shared many photos he took during our tour, which will be happy reminders of that day on Etna.

Cannot recommend Giuseppe more highly! - ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT !!
Giuseppe was fantastic from the outset. He was very easy to get along with and put my children and I at ease.
He was very patient and made sure that they were engaged and enjoying themselves on the long climb.
His knowledge about the botany and geology of Etna was particularly interesting for me as an archaeobotany student. He was also able to explain things in child friendly terms.
My kids LOVED being able to run down the volcano and I loved the views.
The fact that he picked us up and took us back to our residence as part of the tour was a bonus. Cannot recommend Giuseppe more highly and hope to return to Sicily one day so that I can do more of his tours.
