Great trip - We had a great Tour Guide, and he gave us (6) lots of background information. We visited different places, that we would not go ourselves. When we reached the base car park of Mt Etna, we had time to explore the area by ourselves. If you want to take the cable car, you would need to do this yourself, this tour did not have that time. It was so hot, much too hot to climb. Overall a very time morning.

Great discovery. - Many thanks to the Orasio Guide who masters his subject very well, he provided us with many exploitations in relation to ETNA and its secondary craters in perfect French.

Perfect day out for the family - We had a fantastic trip. Would highly recommend this to anyone.
Our guide was so very knowledgeable and passionate about Etna, and indeed the whole island. He added a sense of humour to the day too.
The jeep was very comfortable and air conditioned.
The trip was a perfect length with lots of stops for views and to listen to Etna exploding.
Not a lot of walking so very manageable for all ages (even with a bad ankle!)
We took water and food with us as was unsure of availability. When you get to Etna there is a cafe but there is also a cafe where you meet at the beginning of the day.
The tasting stop was a lovely little end to the tour. I highly recommend the mushroom olive oil!
Cannot recommend this trip enough. Excellent value for money.

A fantastic trip - Our guide was very knowledgeable throughout the whole experience, he was very professional, kind and helpful.
I would definatly recommend this tour for someone that doesn't want to do alot of walking, the jeep was able to take us off the road to see alot of extras. 10 out of 10

My Etna - Pick up location easy to locate not far from Catania train station. Our guide for the day was Orazio and he was fantastic. Lots of facts, knowledge, happy to answer lots of questions and a great driver. He made sure we were all comfortable and never rushed us throughout the day. Very enjoyable

Unique experience - Superb excursion with a great guide, Régi, who has perfect command of French which allowed us to better understand certain technical terms and have personalized explanations.
The morning was rich in discovery, geological, cultural, artisanal and food.

It's OK to pass the time. - If you have never seen a volcano up close, then "good", but a volcano is "just" a volcano. The legendary cave... you don't have to see it.

GPS malfunction and no jeep tour - The transportation to Mt Etna from the meeting point left Sunday at 8:40 - 5 minutes prior to our late arrival. We totally understand why they had to go since we were lost due to the rental car GPS giving us directions to use roads that were closed for construction. The Viator website did NOT have a phone number posted to contact Laura. Laura sent 2 messages to my email however I did not the international internet on my work cell phone.
We asked if we could meet the others at Mt Etna and we were told no. We drove to Mt Etna ourselves and completed another tour that unfortunately was more expensive.
I contacted Laura last night for a refund for 2 tickets (120E).
