Nice overview of the City - Conchetta did a great job. She didn’t focus on facts and figures but gave us a feeling of life in the city and pointed out several interesting things to do after our tour, including some restaurants and sites to see that we didn’t have time for with her

Private Guide Catania - Our guide was very knowledgeable, attentive and pro active. She was EXCELLENT! Gave us excellent tips on restaurants and other sites besides the ones she took us to. I highly recommend Concetta Giovani. You will have a full experience of Catania.

Good orientation to Catania and Sicily - Our guide Davide was excellent and spoke very good English. We enjoyed seeing all the architectural sites and learning more about Sicilian culture . A good orientation to the city. And Davide recommended a restaurant that we would never have found on our own Food was excellent and the prices reasonable.

Magnificent Walking Tour - Our walking tour with Ketty was amazing. She was very informative, friendly and very knowledgeable about her city. We walked the streets for 2 hours with Ketty moving along to all the interesting places whilst she loaded us up with information on the background and history. We would certainly recommend this personalised tour of Catania to others keen to get a fantastic overview of Catania.

This tour was amazing! My... - This tour was amazing! My husband and I took this tour while on our honeymoon to learn more about the city. Fahad, our tour guide, was the best - he was knowledgeable and passionate about Catania.

Fantastic experience as a solo female traveler - My tour guide was Fahadul and he was fantastic! I did a 3 hour walking tour and got to see lots of highlights of Catania and he was very knowledgeable about the city and its history. Super nice guy. I will note that I was a solo female traveller and immediately felt safe and at ease with Fahadul. Great tour and wonderful experience.

Catania central tour, including churches - We visited a church that was not originally expected to be open. We saw the church interior, underground crypt, the bells and finally the roof top which was about 5 stories above the street. Great views.

Informative Tour - It was a very informative tour. Enjoyed the information passed along. The tour guide could have moved the tour along a bit faster, but overall a good experience.

Expensive and very poor “tour” - This tour was a waste of money. The tour advertised they would send us an itinerary of the day that we can look at and adjust based on the types of things we like to see. We never received it. I brought it up again a few days before the tour and the guide said we would figure it out when we meet up. The guide showed up late then proceeded to ask us what we want to see…we don’t know we aren’t from here that’s why we booked the tour. So she ended up aimlessly walking around the city with no real route or plan. We walked right by a Roman theatre we later went back and visited and it was only mentioned to us well after we passed it and couldn’t go back. We went back another day and it was amazing. We spent 4 hours just walking down the streets which we had already done. We asked questions about key Catania history such as the significance of the elephant and the response we got was “i don’t know I think maybe because they once saw elephants here” so we googled the correct answer. I then brought this all up with Viator and they are un willing to support a refund because there were no discrepancies. They didn’t send the itinerary to plan the tour, that’s a pretty big discrepancy if you ask me. And the tour guide was not local she is only been in Catania a few years and is looking to move back north anyway so she didn’t know anything about the city. She often just walked really slow in the middle of our group with no direction I had to ask multiple times what direction to go and she would keep saying what do you want to see. Again idk I’m not from here I don’t know what’s around. We got more city facts and history of Catania from our other tour guides that were taking us out of Catania in a car to different cities for the day. We even drove past some of the things we saw with the walking tour guide and without us asking our drivers told us all sorts of history about the Galvani and how it affected the structure and why it looks the way it did.
