Great way to have lunch!!! - My wife and I booked this tour through Island Routes at Sandals La Toc. This was such a nice way to spend the late morning and early afternoon! From our driver Samuel, Ms. Sylvia our on site guide, the beautiful gardens, quaint kitchen, 3 other couples, and of course Chef Jules... everything was excellent!! Thank you so much!!!

Fun cooking with an authentic St Lucian Chef - So much fun learning about the herbs and plants that St Lucian's use on a daily basis with are quite different from what I am used to in the US. The chef/teacher was top notch and the whole experience was unforgettable!

Well worth the money and time. I would do it again. Thanks for the experience - There is a short tour of a small museum kept within the house. Quick and quaint. There is a further tour of the gardens that are used for the kitchen. Very interesting if you are interested in using natural foods for cooking. The cooking class was fun. Gave everyone an opportunity to put together one of the parts of a 3 course gourmet meal. Presentation of a course with colour and taste and height. All the ingredients for you to understand how Sous Chefs put a gourmet plate together. Lot of fun, and we all have a better understanding of how a busy kitchen is run. Couple of hours with a few others in a kitchen. New friends and a better education of the kitchen.

Worth every dime! - It was such an amazing experience. The perfect amount of participation (cooking was hands on with guide from the Chef but food was prepped prior). Plus, we ate everything we cooked. Full course meal - appetizer, main & dessert.

Don’t miss this one! - What a wonderful experience. The chef had excellent recipes, and allowed us to do the cooking, rather than just observing. We had a tour of the beautiful on sight garden , where the ingredients were grown… fresh and delicious. Three courses & cocktails. Loved every minute. Highly recommend!

Poor value for money, not given your own station to cook - You are not given your own station and ingredients to cook! This was very disappointing given the expensive price. This should be detailed in the description before you purchase a ticket. For my session, 6 of us were 'competing' to join the chef to make the three courses. There is no structure - whoever puts their hand up quickest goes up to the kitchen table. So you risk not doing anything meaningful at all, especially if the rest of the group is (understandably) self-interested! Chef assigns various tasks (peeling, mashing, cutting etc) per course and guides you how to best present the dish. There is no space for you to improvise. You enjoy a three course meal and the chef is explaining/informing you all the way through. Staff are lovely but ultimately, this is poor value for money. I put my email address down at the end of the course to receive the recipe - nothing has been sent (I attended Feb 9th). I emailed Barefoot Holidays to chase this up - still no response after a week.
