- Parco Archeologico - Departing from Castellammare del Golfo, we will proceed to the archaeological park of Segesta. The ancient city of Segesta, established around the 7th century BC by the Elemi, boasts ancient Doric temples, an agora, and a theater atop Barbarian mountain.
- Erice - After leaving Segesta, we will journey towards Erice, another ancient city founded by the Elimi. The name Erice was adopted during the Mussolini era; historically, the city was known as Monte Sangiuliano. Situated approximately 750 meters above sea level, this fortified village features crenellated walls, guard towers, castles, and access gates. Besides enjoying the stunning views of the Egadi islands, you can wander through the village’s ancient streets, dine at traditional trattorias, and sample local sweets like mandarla and Genoese pastries. You may also visit the ancient cathedral of Erice (Arab-Norman art), Castello di Venere, and Torre di Ligny.
- Riserva Naturale Saline Di Trapani E Paceco - We will depart Erice around 3:30 PM and head to the salt pans of Trapani and Paceco. These salt pans, preserved from urban expansion 26 years ago through the establishment of the Reserve, are among the last productive salt pans in Sicily and a haven of biodiversity where productive activities and nature conservation coexist. A guided tour of the museum will take guests through the centuries-old history of the area. Visiting these sites reveals the harmony between sea and land and highlights the cultural significance of the ancient salt cultivation industry. After the museum tour, you can walk through the surrounding salt pans, enjoying the evocative and colorful atmosphere among the canals that divide the various salt pans.
