This stone village boasts a medieval urban structure with charming narrow streets, churches, and noble palaces. As the highest village in the Madonie, Petralia Soprana offers sweeping views of the snow-capped peaks of Etna. The adventure continues at an altitude of 1500 meters towards Piano Battaglia, located in the heart of the Madonie massif, known for its stunning landscape and environmental significance. Expect to see various wildlife, including deer and Madonie eagles. The excursion proceeds to the village of Isnello, passing by the astronomical observatory.
