Family cooking in Casablanca - Inas and her family were so wonderful. We arrived and her apartment and she took us to a local market to pick out fresh vegetables and spices and then we made chicken tagine. Her mother and father came out to greet us and we has such a lovely time learning about Moroccan culture from a local family. If you truly want to learn about a culture when you are traveling, this is the way to do it! Oh, and the food was phenomenal!!! Can't wait to make it for our family back in the States!

Book this Experience! - The time we spent with Inas was amazing! The communication was excellent and the directions to her home were so easy. We took the tram and got off right at her home. We met and visited with her parents, they are absolutely delightful, before heading to the market to shop. Shopping at neighborhood market was wonderful. Back at the apartment we took breaks in between cooking by listening to/watching Moroccan music. We made couscous with chicken, tea and a salad. The food was amazing! Inas and her family are SO welcoming and charming. I would actually book this experience again with a different dish just to enjoy visiting!

Wonderful Moroccan Food Experience! - We had the most wonderful experience with our host, Inas, and her parents! Inas was gracious and very enthusiastic to share her Moroccan culture with us! Starting with the trip to the Souk for ingredients, to dining together in the home. Thank you for everything!

So much more than just cooking. Excellent experience. - Inas was extremely pleasant and easy to deal with, very welcoming of us into her home, accommodating when we were late and gave us a great introduction into modern Moroccan life. We walked with her to the local open air market to buy fresh ingredients for the meal we had chosen , chicken tagine with prunes and almonds. We chopped and stirred and chatted whilst she explained what she was doing. Whilst the lunch was cooking Inas made Moroccan mint tea , explaining the traditions and nuances of the method, and served it with traditional cookies. We all sat together in her front room and enjoyed the delicious tagine and salad we had helped prepare. Inas’s parents also warmly welcomed us into the appartment. We took a taxi there and a tram back. The tram was a much more relaxing and cheaper journey. Inas took us to the tram stop and helped us buy the tickets. A great experience we would wholeheartedly recommend.

Wonderful Experience! - This was a great experience to learn more about Moroccan life. I came away with a better understanding of the culture and food of Morocco. The woman who ran the event was warm and insightful. We shopped for vegetables and spices at the local market, we prepared and cooked an excellent meal. In addition to the food, the hostess introduced local music through a number of videos we watched while drinking tea. It was a wonderful afternoon and a perfect introduction to Morocco. I would recommend this to any visitor to the country!

Authentic Experience learning from a Local - I had the most wonderful experience with Inas. The thing I like most about it is the authenticity. Inas took me to the market where people shop for their groceries and spices - everything is fresh. With Inas suggestions - I purchased the unique spices to bring home so that I can make my tangine at home. You know by going with her you are not buying as a tourist but as a local. I purchased the green tea she uses to make mint tea. I also purchased some black soap and she explained how to use it. I suggest doing this tour early in your visit to Morocco so you can learn from her about the culture, places to visit, what to bring home and what prices to expect. The tangine we made was delicious. There are choices on which tangine you want to make. The tangine was served with bread and I thought it was above and beyond that her father went out to the local bakery to purchase the bread for our meal right before it was ready. The bread was still warm! The communication was great! She contacted me using WhatsApp the day before with clear directions how to get to her home. I decided to take the Tram and it was safe, easy, cheap, clean and efficient.

What a lovely at home... - What a lovely at home experience! We felt like we were visiting a cousin. The hostess is a great cook and shared her tricks for a truly Moroccan experience. While waiting for dinner to cook, we enjoyed old and new music videos and learning about traditions and daily life. I highly recommend this experience!
