Trip of a lifetime - Our week in Morocco was amazing! Majid worked with us to create a personalized itinerary. He was so patient and helped us tailor our trip to include amazing riads, lunches with local families, and fun adventures. The trip was seamless- i felt like we were personally cared for the entire week. Majid coordinated the trip and arranged for our personal driver, Moha. Moha, our driver, met us at the airport in Marrakesh. He was so much more than our driver. he spent the whole week with us driving us to all our stops and sharing his country with us. We learned so much about Moroccan culture and history while spending time with Moha. he is so kind, patient and fun! We will definitely keep in touch. Moha and Majid were in touch through the whole trip making sure we were happy. Majid also reached out personally to us several times during the week to make sure everything was as we wished. In Marrakesh, we stayed at La Maison Arabe. it was incredible! our local guide, Hamid, met us at our Riad to bring us on a food tour the first night. Do not hesitate to do it! We had Moroccan soup made by a woman who was once the King’s chef. The best soup the whole trip! We ate Moroccan donuts, crepes, and so much more! It was the best way to start our trip. The next day, we had an amazing breakfast at La Maison Arabe. Then, Hamid met us for a full day tour of Marrakesh. It was a great blend of history and fun. Hamid is so knowledgeable and made the tour fun for our teen boys. Monday we flew to the Merzouga area where we met back up with Moha. We spent the day making stops on our way to the desert. Moha made us feel so welcome and comfortable with the community. He introduced us to everyone as if we were family. It was wonderful. Our stops included lunch with a local family. What an incredible experience! Mohamed, his wife and 3 children welcomed us into their home. They prepared us a fantastic meal that included berbere pizza! My kids loved it! Mohamed owns a shop below his house. My boys had a great time with him helping them find the perfect scarves for our trek on camels into the desert. Mohamed taught them how to tie the scarves perfectly. It was such a special moment. We loved our time in Rissani. Monday we rode camels into the desert! Amazing! We stayed at Tiziri luxury camp. Ahmed was the head of the camp. A few thoughts- the tents are amazing: Heated, comfortable beds, hot showers, spacious . We worried we might be cold in February at night, but The tents were very warm! We wore jackets by the fire at night and felt very comfortable. We elected to stay 2 nights. I was so glad- we were able to spend the day visiting with a nomad family, riding dune buggies and sand boarding. We had 2 amazing meals! And, sitting around the fire listening to music was awesome. The following day, Moha drove us to Boulmade dades. We spent 2 nights at Dar Rhiana Dades. The staff is amazing- so incredible helpful. Always attentive. The location is perfect. The dinners are like gourmet meals. They were 5 courses every night. I understand the chef trained in Belgium. We were glad to have a full day in the Dades valley. This allowed us to go hiking with Mohamed. Moha introduced us to our guide, Mohamed. We trekked for 4 hours through the gorges. It was amazing! We then met Moha at Mohamed’s house where his wife had prepared us a huge lunch. These are memories we will have forever. From the Dades valley, we travelled back to marrakesh for 1 last night. We are at Dar Esselem. It was a fun night of music and dancing to close the trip. I am so thankful to Moha and Majid. They created the trip of a lifetime

A simply extraordinary trip! - Under Moroccan Sun customized a 10 day itinerary for our group of 4. We learned about and experienced the richness of this wonderful country and its people - we traveled its cities, mountains and valleys, and the Sahara desert. Our amazing driver was with us and guided us throughout the trip. He opened his heart to us and shared stories about growing up in a Berber village and splitting his time between the city and home. We saw historical and modern day Morocco through his eyes, as well as through the tales of the best local guides at every stop along the way. Our accommodations were top notch, and each location has its own beauty and personality. The sights we saw and the experiences we had are unforgettable. This country is like a tagine – slow cooked and imparting layers of marvelous flavors and aromas. We're still savoring so many special moments. We had a choice of travel agencies, and we chose to work with Hassan because of his love of this country and his no-nonsense attitude. Planning the itinerary with him was easy, and we learned during the trip that his network of people in Morocco is unsurpassed. He made magic happen for us, and we are so grateful.

Ultimate Morocco guide and company - If I could give this company a 10 star review I would! I have been to 65 countries in my life and countless tours and this is the best tour and tour guide I have ever had! Moha was incredibly informative, warm and always anticipated our needs. We had 9 travelers from ages of 19-56 and Moha kept everyone engaged and entertained. We could not have asked for more. Hassan, the owner of the company stopped by to see us on New Years Eve to check in. He planned a trip that covered different places in Morocco with BEAUTIFUL hotels and great dinners. Everyday was a new adventure and had a personal local touch. Our group is already planning another trip to northern Morocco with the same company and guide. WONDERFUL COMPANY AND GUIDE!!!

Best Trip Ever! - Hassan planned an incredible trip for us and made sure all of our accommodations were provided for our group of 9 people, 4 adults and 5 college age young adults. Everything was well organized, and the highlight of our trip was our guide, Mohammed (Moha) Ait-Bahadou. From our arrival at the airport to our departure 9 days later, Moha was attentive, well prepared, friendly, and provided amazing hospitality, could not have asked for a better guide!

Wow, experience of a lifetime! - Extensive travel veteran, but first time ever booking a guided trip so I was a little nervous. Hassan worked with me customizing an extended version of this trip, hassle free. Our driver / main guide Mouad was simply amazing, always punctual, excellent English, entertaining, and very adjustable to what we wanted to see and do. All of the riads were top notch places to stay, and the local guides were great (especially Achmed in Fes!) My wife and I were able to see and experience some of the best of Morocco absolutely stress free. From the desert experiences to the hammam and cooking class, everything was a blast. If you're considering a trip to Morocco, UtMS is the way to go.

An Amazing Tour of Morocco - Hassan and his team organized an amazing private tour for my husband and me of the highlights of Morocco. He listened carefully to what we wanted, made suggestions based on his experience of the country and then came up with a tour that was perfect for us. As requested he booked us into small beautiful boutique riads and arranged private tours for us in all of the principal places. We visited Casablanca, Chefchaouen, Volubillis, Fes, the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, Kasbah Bab Ourika, the High Atlas, Marrakech and many other wonderful places along the way. Everything worked like clockwork. However, I must make a very special mention of our driver guide Ismail. He made the tour extra special for us. He was informative, good natured, prompt, helpful and funny. We could not have had a better driver guide and our trip would not have been quite the same without him. Five stars to Under Moroccan Sun, Hassan and his team and especially to Ismail.

Magical Trip to Morocco thanks to Mouad and Majid! - Our trip to Morocco was truly magical and probably one of the best trips of my life (including 25 other countries visited so far)!! This was my first time traveling via a travel agency and with a guide / driver and I cannot recommend Majid or our amazing guide Mouad enough!! My heart is so full after this trip and our experience with them! Morocco is a beautiful country with kind people, amazing food, adventure, relaxation, shopping, art, music and more. Majid did a great job organizing the details of the trip and providing recommendations so our itinerary had it all! Once we arrived to Casablanca, we were met at the airport by our fantastic guide Mouad who's big smile, great sense of humor, attention to detail and thoughtfulness truly left a huge impression on our group. Mouad was an extremely safe and organized driver. We could relax and have fun because we knew he had everything handled. He frequently broke up our longer drives for "great stops" along our route which allowed us to really get a feel for the beautiful people, culture and cuisine of Morocco that we would not have found with out him. Some of my favorites stops were to get fresh squeezed pomegranate juice, prickly pears and oranges from local farms, coffee from roadside vendors, freshly shucked oysters right from the ocean, assorted Moroccan cookies from an amazing bakery, henna tattoos from a local village, hikes along the sea and mountains, etc. Mouad is DEFINITELY who you want as your guide! He is positive, funny, knowledgeable, easy going, and he has a gift for reading people and assessing their needs. He flexed perfectly from giving us great information on the country, being our hype-man when we were having fun and excited, finding anything we needed (ice, medicine, a birthday cake, etc), and creating a calm environment when everyone wanted to relax in the car. He also invited us to his family's home for lunch in the desert which was a heartwarming experience that I'll never forget. He helped us get a special birthday cake in the desert, play a prank our on friend in the Dedas Valley and he helped us change our plans a few times so we could stay in the best places (with the best rooms) and be sure to see Essoueria which was our favorite! Our trip to Morocco was full of so much laughter, adventure, learning and love all thanks to Mouad! My favorite adventures of this trip were wandering the narrow medina streets in Fez, hiking with monkeys in the Atlas mountains, riding camels, ATVs and 4x4s through the Sahara desert, dancing to Gnawa and Tinariwen music at the desert, camp, meeting Mouad's family in Rissani, shopping for a custom leather jacket and Berber rugs in the Atlas mountains, relaxing at the Hammam in Marrakesh, laughing and eating together, trying street food in Essoueira, and galloping down the beach on horseback in Essoueira. Amazing trip through Morocco with Mouad - We had an incredible trip through Morocco. Our guide, Mouad, made sure we were always having fun, adjusting to our independent plans to ensure we had the best experience. As a group of three girls, we always felt safe and comfortable. Mouad constantly shared facts, jokes, anecdotes, and anything else that could enhance our trip. Everything was well-organized, and the entire journey ran smoothly. We could stop along the drive for photos, snacks, or anything else we needed, and Mouad was always there to help. On our way to the desert, we were delayed by flash floods that blocked our route to the camp, but it didn’t feel like a big deal at all. We avoided the flooded areas and had a meal with his family since we couldn’t travel further. It was so lovely and heartwarming to experience that kind of Moroccan hospitality. What could have been a stressful travel hiccup turned into a delightful alternative plan, still aligned with what we wanted from the trip. I loved our time in Marrakech, the desert (my favorite), and Fez. I felt like we truly learned about the rich history of each region while enjoying delicious food and having a lot of fun. I highly recommend heading to the desert (we traveled via Skoura and then to Merzouga), and riding camels to watch the sunset over the dunes. You’ll also witness an incredible starry sky and a stunning sunrise. Other highlights included our cooking class, food tours, ATVing, seeing the oldest university in the world (!!), the leather tanneries, and so much more. A big thank you to Mouad, our guide and driver, for putting up with our shenanigans over ten days and becoming a friend! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who will listen (I already have been, and I haven’t even been home for a week!).

Amazing Tour of Morocco with fantastic guide Mouad! - We had an amazing time on our tour across Morocco! Mouad, our guide and driver made sure we were always comfortable, safe and having fun. He was very flexible to accommodate to our plans, always cheerful and kept us laughing and smiling with his jokes and stories. It was great to see Morocco with Mouad since he was very knowledgable about Moroccan culture, people and the landscape. He was very organized and managed all coordination between hotels, riads, local tour guides etc. on our behalf so that every stop along our trip was seamless and we didn't have to worry about those details. On top of that Mouad was a great photographer and pointed out lots of great vantage points along our roadtrip for us to stop and take photos and enjoy the view. During our trip there was some heavy rain and flooding and Mouad easily adjusted our plans so that we could make the most of our time while avoiding the flooded areas. When we were temporarily stuck in one area due to a flooded river, Mouad took us to have a meal with his family who were very kind and welcoming. Mouad went above and beyond in every regard and our trip would not have been the same without him! Majid was also very helpful in coordinating details ahead of time and planning the trip to make sure we had great experiences at beautiful hotels and venues. The structure of the tour was ideal - it was a good split between time in the cities, exploring the medinas and shopping, and enjoying the natural landscapes of morocco and the beauty of the desert. The guided food and city tours of Marrakech and Fez were incredibly helpful to understand the local history and food traditions in each city. Another highlight of the trip was definitely spending time in the sand dunes at Merzouga where we took a camel trip to a desert camp and also had the chance to do ATV riding in the sand dunes (really thrilling!). Thank you to Mouad and Majid! We highly recommend this experience and will be telling all our friends about it.

Great Tour! - We took a two-week trip in August of 2024, which was organized by Majid. We loved our trip! The itinerary was perfect, with just the right amount of time at each location. The accommodations were very nice, and the local guides were great. Majid did a fantastic job of organizing the whole thing. The best part of the trip was our driver/guide, Ismael. He has the perfect personality for the job: fun, well-informed, and kind. He was a great driver and a very interesting person to chat with during the drives from one location to the next. The whole family missed him on the days we were not with him. By the end of the trip, it felt like he was part of the family. Also, the WIFI in the van was a very nice touch. Overall, we could not be happier with our experience with our tour.
