Known as the “Pearl of the South,” this unique city was established in the 11th century by the Almoravides Dynasty and is located where the desert meets the mountains.
Marrakech City Tour
Marrakech - Today’s tour includes visits to the Saadian tombs, the Dar Si Said Museum, the Majorel Gardens, and the city’s centerpiece: the 12th-century Koutoubia Minaret. After lunch, you’ll have the chance to explore the vibrant souks, a labyrinth of alleyways and colorful shops, and finally, the Djemaa El Fna Square, where snake charmers, acrobats, and fortune tellers provide endless entertainment. Dinner and accommodations will be at your hotel.
Marrakech to Kasbah ait benhaddou & overnight in Ouarzazate
Ksar of Ait-Ben-Haddou - Depart for Ouarzazate via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m). You’ll discover a stunning region marked by the beauty of its landscapes, dominated by Berber villages and their farms. Before reaching Ouarzazate, you’ll stop at Ait Benhaddou for lunch and then visit the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou (a UNESCO World Heritage site). Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa,” where you’ll visit the Atlas Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. Your day will end with dinner and accommodations at your hotel.
Ouarzazate - Todra Gorges - Erfoud - Merzouga
Merzouga Desert - In the morning, depart for the dunes of Merzouga, one of the most enchanting southern regions featuring a dry, red desert that suddenly transitions into the lush Ziz Valley, filled with date palm groves and flowing streams. You’ll travel through the Dadès Valley, where thousands of Persian roses bloom in the spring, filling the air with their heavenly scent. You’ll also see the numerous kasbahs along the Dadès River, majestic sandcastles with timeless beauty. Just 15 kilometers from Tinghir, you’ll find the Todra Gorges, the highest and narrowest in the region. After lunch, continue to Erfoud, from where you’ll take a 4x4 to reach the dunes of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your hotel in Merzouga.
Merzouga - Fes
Fes - Early in the morning, enjoy a camel ride to witness the sunrise, then return to the Kasbah for breakfast. Depart for Fes, stopping in Midelt for lunch while taking in the dramatic scenery: the Middle Atlas Mountains give way to the High Atlas Mountains, whose peaks rise over 12,000 feet. Spend the day exploring the rural areas of the Atlas Mountains, covered with evergreen pines, tall cedar trees, and poplars, and crisscrossed by flowing streams. The Middle Atlas will seem surprisingly un-Moroccan. You’ll pass through Azrou, an important market center for the region’s Berber tribes, located at a major mountain route junction. Continue to Fes, where you’ll end your day with dinner and accommodations at your hotel.
Fes city tour
Fes el-Bali - After breakfast, begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled cities. The tour starts at the royal palace gates, then moves to a panoramic view of the old medina near the Saadian Fortress. Enter the old medina through the famous Boujloud (blue gate) and visit Merdersa Bou Inania and the Mosque Abou El Hassan. Explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices (Attarine Souk), intricately woven Berber carpets, and many other Moroccan art objects. Visit the Nejjarin Fountain, the tanneries, and the potters. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch, visit the Kairaouine Mosque and the Moulay Idriss II mausoleum, then return to your hotel for the evening.
Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen
Volubilis - Travel to Meknes on an excursion that covers a significant part of Morocco’s early history. First, pass through Moulay Idris, founded by the country’s first Arab dynasty, and then through Volubilis, Morocco’s Roman provincial capital. Continue to Chefchaouen, where you’ll have lunch and explore the blue pearl of Morocco, a beautiful blue and white-washed Andalusian town nestled in the Rif Mountains. The town is very relaxed, with small winding alleyways and market squares where women from the surrounding Rif sell their handmade products. End your day with dinner and accommodations at your hotel.
Chefchaouen - Rabat - Casablanca
Rabat - After breakfast, travel to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Designed in a spacious European grid, Rabat has an ancient legacy spanning hundreds of generations. Each civilization that has inhabited the city has left its mark, resulting in a variety of architectural styles, including those from the Phoenician and Roman eras. After lunch, continue to Casablanca.
Casablanca - Home
Casablanca - Early morning transfer to Mohamed V Airport or Menara Airport for your flight home, concluding a memorable trip of a lifetime.
