• Carvalho Beach - The journey begins at the serene and secluded Carvalho Beach, where a safety briefing and instructions will be provided. Access to the beach is through an ancient carved tunnel in the rock. Visitors can admire the rock tower emerging from Carvalho’s waters and its curving limestone walls.

The meeting point is at Carvalho Beach’s parking lot, next to the colorful Brotherootz van. There will be 24 guests gathering, who will be divided into two separate tours. Each group of 12 will be accompanied by a guide on the tour.

• Praia de Benagil - After departing from Carvalho, the tour visits some hidden caves along the way, eventually reaching the lively Benagil Beach, where the village’s rich fishing history can be observed.

• Benagil Cave - Immediately following Benagil Beach, the tour arrives at the renowned Benagil Cave. Here, guests can capture stunning photos at the famous “sinkhole” while learning about the historical, geological, and ecological significance of the Algarve region. After the guide’s explanations, guests can explore the cave independently or follow the guide to discover fascinating hidden fossils. After approximately 30 minutes, the adventure continues as guests exit the cave with the guide’s assistance.

• Praia da Marinha - Upon leaving Benagil Cave, the tour paddles towards Marinha Beach, visiting more hidden caves and “sinkholes” along the way. Upon arrival at Marinha Beach, guests pass beneath the iconic Arches of Marinha and pause for excellent photo opportunities. The tour then paddles back towards Carvalho Beach.

• Leixão das Gaivotas - If time permits, depending on the group, a visit to the “Island of the Smuggler” is included. Here, guests enter a massive tunnel within this rock formation and observe two beautiful holes in the ceiling, known as “the blue eyes.” Photos will be taken.

• Farol de Alfanzina/Alfanzina Lighthouse - After exiting the tunnel of the “Island of the Smuggler,” the majestic lighthouse can be admired in all its glory. The tour then heads back to the beach, which is just five minutes away from this point. Photos will be taken.
