Do it!!!! 🌟 - The guides were excellent! Our tour from Carvoeiro had to be shifted to Portimao due to the weather however they drove us there and back at no extra cost. For those with motion sickness like me, hang on bc it is a once in a lifetime kind of experience :) you’ll be glad you did it

Simply amazing! - Simply amazing! Much more than I expected. The boat skipper is extremely good to navigate through the caves in high wave conditions, and humorous too. Tour was supposed to start from Carvoeiro beach but due to rough seas had to start from Portimao. 2hr tour instead of 1.5hr tour at no extra charge. However, I was terribly seasick due to rough sea.

Stunning coastline, small and safe boats, the absolutely best staff. Always so fun! - This is my 5th trip with Carvoeiro Caves. We go out with them every time we have guests visiting us here in the Algarve, it’s always the main highlight of their trip. The captain and guide on the 8 person boats are amazing. So fun and funny, very knowledgeable and above all, safe. Can’t say enough about them. They take the time to take pictures of everybody in the world famous Benagil cave. They make extra stops to let everyone get the perfect photos. They seem to truly delight in making people smile and laugh. What an exceptional treat to go out with this smaller company!

Great time - Had a great 90 min boat ride with Daniel and Yuri. We were showed all the natural beauty of the caves and beaches around the area. Places that bigger boats would not be able to enter. Weather was beautiful and we felt safe the whole time out on tour.

Safe and Fun - I had originally booked the tour from Carvoeiro but due to sea conditions, it was cancelled. The company called me and offered me a trip from Portimao. It was easy as they also had a transfer service by car from Carvoeiro to Portimao. The trip took a little less than two hours. The guide and the boat captain seemed to be in control throughout. Please know that this is not a 'cruise' as the sea does get bumpy and you can get sprayed. But I felt safe and enjoyed the tour. On my way back once on land, they even made a small detour to drop me off at the train station in Portimao.

Beautiful caves, chaotic ride - The caves were awesome to see by boat. All of the cliffs and rock formations are beautiful. We had a great time on the tour. One thing I think they should tell you is that you have to take your shoes off and go in the water to get on the boat. It's chilly this time of year and my feet were numb on the tour because of this. The captain wasn't my favorite. It seemed like they were trying to show off by turning the boat sideways and slamming into waved to make you fly out of your seat to try to get better tips. It made for a less enjoyable ride. All in all we had a wonderful time on the tour, but I would have preferred a more relaxing ride.
