If the weather allows, you can go for a swim or take a boat ride to the caves. Sometimes the sea conditions don’t allow the boats to do the tours so please keep that in mind.

9-Day Portugal Tour – Incredible Experience with David & Daniel! - Review of Private Algarve Tour From Lisbon to Benagil, Lagos and Carvoeiro

We recently took a 9-day trip to Portugal with a group of friends after a wedding in Sintra, and it was truly unforgettable — all thanks to our amazing tour guides, David and Daniel!
Both of them were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful throughout the trip. They knew exactly where to take us, and because of their excellent planning and guidance, we felt like we truly saw all of Portugal!
We began our tour with a visit to the stunning Pena Palace in Sintra. On the way to Porto, we made scenic stops in the charming towns of Óbidos and Nazaré. In Porto, highlights included the Douro Valley, a suspension bridge, and a relaxing canal boat ride — all absolutely breathtaking.
As we made our way to Lisbon, we stopped at the historic University of Coimbra and the grand church in Fátima.
One of the most memorable parts of the trip was visiting the spectacular Benagil Caves in the Algarve — a must-see!
David and Daniel went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. They were patient, flexible, and even took us to our favorite restaurants. We never felt rushed, and they made sure we had time to enjoy every place we visited. By the end of the trip, they felt like part of our friend group.
If you’re planning a trip to Portugal, I highly recommend touring with David and Daniel. You won’t be disappointed!

Our family and friends Portugal tours - David and Daniel are great people - we were a group of 12 visiting Portugal. They took us on a seven day tour of various attractions in Porto and Lisbon including transfers from Sintra to Porto and subsequently Porto to Lisbon. We felt like family on the tour. We had WiFi in the tour vans. The personalized tour helped us to do more sightseeing. David and Daniel were excellant tour guides and we learnt a lot about history of Portugal. We would whole heartedly recommend them and you will get the best personalized service

From start to finish, he made the day seamless, fun, and memorable. David spoke excellent English and was incredibly knowledgeable—sharing not only the historical background of each location but also unique regional facts we wouldn’t have discovered on our own.
He took us to all the must-see spots, including a boat ride through the famous Benagil caves, scenic viewpoints with breathtaking coastal views, and a fantastic local restaurant where we enjoyed authentic Portuguese cuisine. The day ended perfectly at a beautiful beach, where we relaxed and soaked up the sun.
The tour was very comfortable and well-paced. What made it even better was David’s thoughtfulness—after the tour, he sent us a curated list of recommendations for the rest of our trip. We highly recommend this tour and especially David—he truly made our visit to Portugal unforgettable!

Perfect personalized trip - David organized a perfect trip for us. We joined him striding from the airport and he organized perfect day trip south. Travel was very comfortable, David has great personality and entertained us along the way. David provided lots of recommendations for the remaining trip- would highly recommend booking private tour with him.

The Magnificent Algarve Coast - My husband and I had a private tour from Lisbon to the Algarve coast ending in Lagos. David showed us amazing scenery. We took a hike on the cliffs above the rock formations. We also took a boat that was small enough to go into the caves from the water. The Algarve coast is spectacular.
David took us off the beaten path and we explored areas not on the boardwalk. We also had great Portuguese food in restaurants not frequent by tourists. All in all it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this trip.

True Professional Tour Guide - David is a true professional. We have no hesitation in recommending David to fellow travellers. He is knowledgeable on not only History but also wine, agriculture and much more. David is an easy person to spend the day with and all his recommendations were excellent.David adapts well to last minute changes and wishes hence we have since booked several other trips with him.

Premium Agarve - Our tour guide, Daniel, was the most gracious host. It was truly the best tour we have ever done. Daniel took his time showing us all of the beautiful and special spots in Algarve. He also took us to a very good restaurant to have lunch. He asked us what we wanted to see and he tailored the trip to our wishes. It was the best day! Definitely do not want to miss this tour for your Portugal trip!
