Very interesting trip but not long enough - Ancient Carthage is on the outskirts of Tunis. The ruins are in good condition for their age, and the signage is in English as well as other languages so it was easy to see what was what. My only gripe about this visit was we did not stay here long enough before moving on to our next destination.

Highly recommended tour - Tarek led an excellent and informative tour through the various Carthage sites. We wouldn't have been able to see so many different sites and understand them without Tarek's expert guidance. Our driver Mohammed was also wonderful. Highly recommended.

Great caring historical tour! - Tarek did a wonderful job of engaging all of us in the layers of Tunisian and Roman and Carthaginian history! We all came away with a lot more information and a much deeper appreciation of the history here. He was also able to provide a great springboard for exploring other historical sites. The pace was relaxed but full and we felt cared for. Definitely recommend this tour!

Excellent Tour Experience - Tarek was very knowledgeable of the area and shared the information in a way that was engaging and helpful. This was my second time touring with Tarek but with a different group of friends. Even after seeing some of the same places, I still learned new things. He also kept us on schedule without feeling rushed. Great experience! Highly recommend!

An exceptional tour of Ancient Carthage! - Tarek was an exceptional tour guide! He has a warm and engaging personality and was very knowledgeable about the sites and locations we visited. He drew us all in with not only the historical details and facts but compelling stories of the people who lived at that time. I enjoyed the tour and learned so much. I would highly recommend Tarek!

Don’t Miss A Tour with Tarek When You Visit Tunisia - Tarek is an amazing tour guide. We learned so much about the history of Tunisia and Carthage. He explained things well and answered all of our questions as we went along.
We also had a one hour language lesson from him before we met for our tour. He taught us a few words and phrases and a bit about the history of the language of Tunisia. It really helped us when we were in the markets and spending time in the city.
I highly recommend Tarek for any tours or language tutoring you need while in Tunisia. I know we will ask for him the next time we visit!

Best tour guide ever! - We had a super tour! Our guide Tarek was very knowledgeable about all the places we saw. Having been born and raised here in Tunisia, he has a great understanding of history and culture from ancient times to the present. He patiently and expertly answered all our questions. His language skills are superb with excellent pronunciations that we clearly understood (this has been a problem for us on other tours in some countries). My wife has mobility problems but Tarek was very accommodating in minimizing the amount of walking she needed to do. Overall, A++.

Incredible tour!! - Tarek was an incredible guide and host! He has a deep knowledge and understanding of the sites and Tunisian history. He was extremely professional and helped us see Tunisian in a way we would not have seen without him! When I come back to Tunisia I will be booking him again! Highly, highly recommend his services and tour!!

Professional, personal, knowledgeable, 5/5 recommend - My wife and I have lived in Tunisia for 3 years but finally made the time to visit ancient Carthage… and I’m so glad we did. Tarek is a great blend of professional and personal, and he knows the area and history very well. He mentioned how he is able to tweak the itinerary based on clients interests and we appreciated how he did that for us, given both our interests and limitations as a family with young children. This tour was worth every penny! If you have even only a day or two in the Tunis area, your time with Tarek should be on the short list and it very well may be the highlight of your trip. 5/5 recommend.
