A fun experience at the Rosario Islands! - Angel was a fantastic guide who provided us with plenty of recommendations and tips throughout our trip, ensuring we wouldn't get scammed. First, everyone had to check in and choose their desired lunch. We didn't board the boat until 8:30-9 AM. Our group opted out of the fort tour due to the heat, but we passed by slowly to take pictures. Next, we went snorkeling, which was my favorite part. Afterward, we visited a calm beach, enjoyed a welcome drink, and swam for about an hour. Then, we headed to Cholon, the party island, where there were plenty of activities like jet skiing and tubing. Around 2:30 PM, we arrived at Barú for lunch, where the fried fish was excellent! We left for Cartagena around 3:30 PM. The waves were choppy on the way back, so be prepared for that, but the crew did an excellent job. Angel also gave us a few shots, and you can bring your own drinks if you don't want to spend money on the islands. Recommendations: The beaches are rocky, so bring water shoes, sunscreen, a towel, water, cash (islands can have a 15% upcharge), and snacks. Make sure to eat breakfast beforehand. There's a shop at the port with snacks and water equipment too. It was a great time, but it's very hot, so be prepared!

Best tour from Cartagena - It’s the best way to explore the islands near Cartagena. Each island is very different. The speed boat is really fun! The tour guide didn’t speak English very well and didn’t provide enough details on timing. But overall an amazing tour!

Fun tour but some issues with capacity and bus driver - So I have done multiple tours like this in different places. The tour guide was great! So fun and energetic. This is a fun party tour so I wouldn’t recommend for children. We did the plankton addition without really knowing what we picked. Personally I would have been ok if we missed it. To me it wasn’t worth the two hour wait. The reason I am giving this tour 3 stars instead of 4 is because they put way too many people in the boat. Two guys had to stand and there were two girls sitting on top of an ice cooler. Another reason is the driver after the plankton tour. He was honking continuously and going over speed bumps really fast. At one speed bump you saw everyone’s body jump up and down. It was already 9pm and we had been in the sun all day. I was tired and had a minor headache by being out all day. His driving was SO reckless that the head ache got really bad and I got REALLY REALLY car sick. Aside from those two things the tour is really fun. I would just recommend to skip the plankton tour because you’re just waiting there for two hours and it isn’t even that great. For the agency, I recommend that they do better about the amount of people inside the boat. Also, if you don’t do the plankton tour you don’t drive back to the city you take a boat back.

Tour for drinkers with money to spare, not very relaxing - The positive from this trip was the kind and friendly staff people who tried their best to make this a memorable and fun experience. We were told to meet at 7:45 near the dock and that we would leave at 8:30. We left about an hour late. None of the itinerary times are actually followed. The first stop was not even on the itinerary and honestly I did not enjoy at all. You are taken to a historic colonial fort and given a tour from a local guide. It was super hot, most of us didn’t have sneakers on and there were bats inside the fort. Local vendors bother you the whole time to sell you items that you can basically get on any island. Then the tour guide encourages you to give him a tip. It was exhausting and not relaxing at all. The snorkeling activity was okay, nothing spectacular. The first island was pretty nice. They had a whole area reserved for our group where you could relax in a beach bed or order a drink. Cholon was a nightmare. Full of drunk people playing different music. Water was disgusting. Vendors aggressively come up to you every few minutes. I paid 110,000COP for 2 drinks. There was no actual beach to sit on so you either stayed in the boat or got in the water. The last island was very crowded. We finally ate around 3:00PM. You only have 3 options that are covered with your ticket. You must pay the difference for food over 30,000 COP. Lots of venders trying to sell you overpriced massages and random souvenirs. Even when you say no they insist on continuing to show you. Unlike the first island, where we had beach chairs included, all of the seating cost money. We were only there for 45 minutes because we were already running late. I was hoping for a relaxing day but for the most part it was overpriced drinks/food and constant vendor harassment.
