• Carrbridge - Stop in Carrbridge to capture a photo of the renowned pack horse bridge.
• Crathie Kirk - The historic Kirk can be seen from the car park, and visitors may stroll around the grounds before heading to Balmoral Castle. There might even be an opportunity to look inside.

Please note, this is a community church and may not be open for visits on the day of the tour.

• Balmoral Castle - Tickets are included for a visit here, allowing up to 3 hours to explore the castle and its grounds. Consider visiting the Pipers Café for a meal.

Balmoral Castle & Royal Lochnagar Distillery From Inverness

Before visiting the castle, there will be a 30-minute stop at Crathie Kirk Church before proceeding to Balmoral Estate.

In 2025, the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop, and cafe will be open to the public daily from April 1st to July 31st. Opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the last recommended admission at 4:30 p.m.

It is recommended to allocate at least one and a half hours for your visit to Balmoral. This will allow ample time to explore the grounds, gardens, exhibitions, gift shop, and the Pipers Hall Cafe.

Visitors will have access to the formal and vegetable gardens, exhibitions in the stable area, and the largest room in the castle, the Ballroom.

An audio handset tour is available in English, as well as Dutch, French, German, Italian, and Spanish translations. Please note that the audio tour is only available for admissions before 4:30 p.m.
