Excellent tour - Excellent tour with Richard, who was very knowledgeable and friendly providing many informative incites into the filming process due to his first hand experience of filming whilst acting in Dr Who. I highly recommend this tour, it was informative about doctor who filming locations, but also about the city of Cardiff too.

Brilliant way to spend 2 hours in Cardiff - We loved this tour. Our Whovian enjoyed every aspect and the rest of us enjoyed seeing great things in Cardiff. Our tour guide, Bill, told us all about the castle’s history and showed us some interesting other things, like the statue of the first black headmistress in Wales Betty Campbell. It was interactive if you wanted it to be, Bill asked and answered questions. And there was loads of opportunity to take photos, we weren’t rushed. A great few hours. Thanks Bill.

If You are a Doctor Who Fan...Do It! - Really enjoyed this tour. Richard, our guide, was superb! Lots of walking, but I didn't mind. He was extremely knowledgeable about Doctor Who locations, due to his work on the series. Take this tour, if you like Doctor Who.

Great tour for all doctor who fans! - Our tour guide Terrence was amazing. Really passionate and knows his stuff. Great locations, with stills from scenes to bring it to life. He was interactive with group, lovely guy. Ran perfectly on time. Highly recommend. Only comment, and this is down to Viator. Location for meet up is main entrance of castle. Not where app tells you to go!

Out of this world! - We were greeted by a smiley Richard, our tour guide, and we were not disappointed! The tour was professional and conducted in a very friendly and natural way. He clearly knew the tour inside out and did not have to refer to a script at any point, the stories he told were natural and not forced. There were 2 latecomers who, when the tour finished, asked Richard to go over what they had missed. We thought this was unfair as it was their fault they were late, but Richard was very kind and we heard him explaining what they had missed to them. We highly recommend this tour, it was informative about doctor who filming locations, but also about the city of Cardiff too. We thoroughly enjoyed it! It is very fast paced though so only join if you are fully able to keep up with the walking!

Location location location - I am not a massive Dr Who fan and I still enjoyed it. It was cool to see the locations and how they were used in the episodes. There was local history as well. I was flagging physically at the end of 2 1/2 hours but I am more mature. I now know Cardiff really well.

Enjoyable, informative, interesting - worth it. - Terence, our Guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable with photographs to show how the different locations were seen during the Dr Who programme. The walk is flat (a few stairs at the museum only) and lasted over 2 1/2 hours. Highly recommend this walking tour.

Better for older children, I think. - I took my 10 year old son on this tour, it was interesting for him as a Dr Who fan to see some locations, however it wasn’t quite what my son thought it would be (I’m not sure what that was!) and we left about 1/3 of the way through. The guide was great and had some cool stories to tell from his time on set.
