Day out with the grandchildren - Pleasant day out with the family. The kids really enjoyed the trip. Decent price for family ticket was also helpful. Will definitely do it again soon.

Great cruise around Cardiff Bay - A very pleasant trip around the bay. The commentary was interesting, and we would have been interested to learn even more detail.

A lovely little jolly - We were ok getting on the boat, there was staff to help and guide- I have mobility issues! I went onto the top deck and it was ok- u go down backwards! U can stay below deck and there was a nice outlook at the front of the boat- sells drinks and snacks- there is a recording you can listen to as you go around the bay ! Sadly there was some people making a tik tok video or playing music that was irritating but nothing you can do about stupid stuff! It was a worthwhile trip! It’s easy to catch the sun out there so be carefu, pushchairs and wheelchair access

The boat trip on board the Marianne was an experience I would never forget - I really enjoyed the boat trip as the views around Cardiff bay to Penarth was amazing and I saw the different sights including the international sports village and Cardiff yatch club

Worth doing - Enjoyable tour of the Bay combined with a general wander around the area. Pre-recorded commentary on the way to Penarth stop which was interesting enough. Didn’t really need to hear the exact same commentary on the way back though 😄. Staff on auto pilot methinks. Anyway worth doing.

OK as a water taxi, not great for a boat tour - Sorry to say was disappointed with the condition of the boat. As it was a windy overcast day it was not very comfortable to sit on the top in the open air so went downstairs. There is no proper seating downstairs, just benches around the edge with grubby plastic covered cushions. The whole boat looked grubby and in need of a spruce up. The announcement said hot and cold drinks and snacks available - when I asked for two hot chocolates I was told there were no hot drinks available. Positives are that it wasn't expensive and was on time. If you are just using this service as a way to get to/from Penarth then it's fine but as a 'boat tour' I think it falls short of the mark.

Not a good experience sadly - Booked the Marianne party boat for a birthday party. A few hours before we were set to sail, the company rang to cancel due to a medical situation with a member of staff. It goes without saying this is incredibly unfortunate, however, my issue is that there was nobody able to take over. I understand that situations arise but surely a company of this capacity should have a backup plan for this type of misfortune? Almost 30 people disappointed, sailors outfits paid for and now wasted and a surprise birthday party ruined. Not a good experience for us sadly.

Horrible experience - no show - I was informed by the provider that the time had changed. However when I showed up at the appointed time, no one was there and I have been unable to reach the provider. I tried contacting Buator and so far they have not been any help to get my money back.
