All-around great experience - An amazing experience! My wife and I had minimal horseback riding experience, but the horses were very gentle and responsive to us. The views of the Andes were incredible, and they cooked us a delicious barbecue dinner.

Recharging the soul on horseback - What a fantastic experience. It started when the personalized and professional pickup by Daniel After an hour drive to the ranch we were so warmly greeted, it melted away any apprehension. We were part of the family. We met Stella, Claudia, and the rest of the team. The knowledge they exuded and the confidence drove away any apprehension. I was a bit worried about 3 hours on a horse. The time melted away. It was amazing. The hike 1500 meters and the view were marvelous. We then went back to the ranch and had a marvelously prepared family dinner with rbe staff and guests. What a beautiful, tranquile, and fulfilling day. Thank you - If you have a chance and are on the area - take it and recharge your batteries and soul.

Book this trip!! - Can’t recommend this trip enough! The family who run it are just lovely and so friendly. Ezequiel and Stella are wonderful hosts and have great communication prior and during the trip. The pick up was smooth and the drive there is beautiful. We went on the one of the only snowy days in the past decade and they still made everything work very smoothly. When you arrive you are greeted by warm drinks and very cute puppies/doggies who live on the ranch. The ride was unbelievably beautiful and the horses are very well behaved and know exactly what to do. The asado when you get back was insanely delicious and we felt looked after like family. You should definitely book this excursion!

A day on the horses in the mountains - fantastic - I was a little leery of horseback riding, not having been on a horse for over 40 years, and my wife 10 years. However, after saddling up, we were so amazed at how easy the horses were to handle. We totally enjoyed this trip. There were, of course, a few tense moments when the horses had to navigate steep terrain. They handled it with aplomb and delivered us to the summit, where we came upon amazing views of the Mendoza desert and the surrounding mountains. On the way down, the horses were in total control and seemed to have a sixth sense of how to navigate their way down.
In addition to the horses, we want to thank the hosts, Stella and her husband, as well as the asador, Daniel. They were amazing hosts, very warm, and made us feel very comfortable with the horses. And the asado was amazing. Thank you, Daniel. The meat, potatoes, rojo pimentos, and fine Argentinian Malbec were the best end to an amazing day on the horses in the mountains.

Amazing experience! - Of all the tours we made in Mendoza, this was the most worthwhile: the hostess was super attentive, especially with the most inexperienced participants; the horses were docile and viewed, wonderful. In addition, at the beginning of the tour we were welcomed with a brunch and we ended the day with a great dinner, very well served and watered with wine. For the experience and reception we had, I recommend.

Gaucho Getaway - One of the most adventurous and memorable experiences we’ve ever had! The remoteness and beauty of riding in the Andes and afterwards the intimate dining of the asado allowed us to recharge our spirits and enjoy this wonderfully unique offering.

Looks like a movie scene! - We really need to shake up. When I went in June was muuuuito cold! But it's all worth it! It is a unique and unforgettable experience! The place, the mountain range, the horses, the dinner... everything is wonderful! One tip: trust your horse! He knows the way and will take you safely! You don't have to be afraid!

Wonderful Views and Asado - Horseback riding in the mountains and the Asado that followed was amazing! My husband and I were picked up directly at our residence and were brought to a small ranch at the base of the mountains where we were greeted by puppies, horses and a quick coffee before starting the ride. They did a great job explaining how to control the horses, and we found the horses knew where they were supposed to go. At the top, we stopped to take in the beautiful view and grab some photos before heading back down. We finished off the trip with a delicious Asado made by the family that brought us to/from the ranch.

Absolutely a bucket list activity - Let's not even mention that the farm dog just had a bunch of cute puppies... and instead focus on the tour-at-hand. Ezequiel was my overall guide (and pickup/dropoff driver) and this entire tour was quite simply a bucket list activity. I mean... riding a horse through the Andes? Yes, that and more. Expert guides--er, sorry, Gauchos--and a spectacular dinner to boot. It does make for a long day but assuming the weather cooperates (it certainly did for my trip), then my gosh, what an adventure. Do ring a backpack with some layers if in fall/winter/spring, and as a SCUBA diver, I found that a GoPro mounted on my backpack shoulder strap took some pretty good footage. Lastly, I will note a couple of things: 1) I thought the tour would be in English but frankly was not... luckily my below average Spanish was good enough, 2) if you've never ridden a horse, no worries, even given the language barrier, this was a great 1st riding experience, 3) there are some rather steep climbs and descents... I've never trusted a horse--or animal--so much in my life. It was a little nerve-wracking and I didn't expect it but wow, was it additive to the experience.
