A great day out - Took this tour whilst on a cruise. Well organised and geared up for all capabilities. As novices we had a leisurely ride whilst better riders were able to get some speed up. After the ride we enjoyed a great asado in lovely surroundings and were well catered for throughout. Then we were treated to a visit to the gaucho museum on site which was really interesting. Ezepuiel and the other guys at the ranch made us really welcome and looked after us well during our time at the polo club. During the ride photos were taken which we were able to receive afterwards. Great day!

Fantastic day riding and asado at La Carona! - Wow what a fantastic day we had at the Ia Carona Polo Club! Keko our guide was wonderful from the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Buenos Aires throughout the day and dropped us back safely. Nothing was too much bother for him, what a lovely gentleman; going above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible experience. The welcome at the estancia from all the staff was great. I rode the wonderful Manchita, beautiful polo mare who was so responsive and safe. Beginners were accommodated but my advice is be aware of how much it takes out of you to ride for 2 hours if you’ve never ridden before. Experienced riders got to have a great canter/gallop which I thoroughly enjoyed. 🐎. Fast and exhilarating but safe, what great ‘brakes’ the polo horses have! My husband (non rider as he’s allergic to horses!) was well catered for as a non rider, lots of bird life to photograph and grounds to walk around. He joined me in a swim in the pool after the ride, so refreshing after 2 hours in the heat! The asado was delicious, plenty of fresh food, tasty steak, local chorizo sausage and lamb plus wine and soft drinks. Cannot recommend this day highly enough especially if you are an experienced rider. We even met one of the owners who was delightful. Thank you Keko and everyone at La Carona but especially the lovely horses 🐎

Highly recommended - This is a wonderful full day experience. Ezequiel and his team are professional , knowledgeable and good fun and obviously really love their work with these horses. We had a wonderful ride with the option to gallop if you want or stay steady if you are novice. Lunch was exceptional and very plentiful. A real 5 star day, thank you

Great day just one hour out of the city - Well taken care off during the whole day. Fantastic quiet estancia just outside of Buenos Aires. Horseback rides were great, easy to do if you are a beginner but also fun if you’re advanced.

Good stuff - Excellent way to get out of the city for a day. The property is beautiful and our guide Tomas was helpful and professional. The whole experience, from the commute to the mata to the horses to the lunch, was top notch.

Wonderful day! - We had a wonderful day at Argentina Polo Day. From the very start, when Tommy picked us up directly from home, we started having a great time. It was a small group of four people from different parts of the world, and everyone spoke English. Tommy kept a positive attitude and was caring and fun from the beginning of the trip until the end of the evening, when he dropped us off at home. The place itself... incredibly beautiful and impressive with its vast open spaces. We were greeted with a delicious breakfast, taught how to make mate properly, and shown a museum with ancient Gaucho artifacts. Then we went horseback riding. Most of our group were complete beginners, but Tommy gave a quick and clear briefing, and we all managed just fine. We rode around the area and enjoyed the local beauty—fields, pastures, animals, nature—trotting and even a little galloping. The horses were super well-trained and calm, and they knew what to do better than I did. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control the horse, but everything went perfectly; we got along, and I relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Lunch with the Asado was excellent, with a wide variety of deliciously cooked meats, salads, wine, and sauces. Then we had time to rest and relax on the grass. After that, there was a second ride, and we even tried playing polo. To finish, we were served ice cream before heading home. It was a fantastic day; the services here are top-notch. Thanks to the host, all the staff, the grooms, the trainers, the cooks, and a special thanks to Tommy. Tommy was very professional, caring, attentive, patient, and always positive and calm. I highly recommend this place to visit, regardless of your level of horseback riding experience. It's worth every dollar, and you definitely won't regret it.
