Great trip to see many famous landmarks - What a great trip we had with Emmuel and his driver. Rabil pottery was small but lovely gifts to buy. My husband had a go at sandboarding in the desert was fun. The shop wreck was great to see for real better than photos and had a drink and icecream stop.in Sal Rei. Recommend this trip

Holidays and relaxation… - I wanted a sunny and relaxing holiday and here in Boavista I found a sea with blue and blue colours. Sea not always calm because the wind reigns supreme here, but a clean and not cold sea. Temperatures from 27 to 31 degrees. Unfortunately, mosquitoes were present all day thanks to the humid climate. Beautiful excursions both inland and by sea, the most exciting was the one to the nature reserve to see the turtles coming out of the water and laying their eggs. We were lucky and even saw the eggs hatch and the little turtles just born. We did it at night. Seen the wreck of the Portuguese merchant ship and the ruins of the Vierna. The locals are friendly and not all speak or understand Italian, but they are kind and helpful. An island that I recommend.

No stress tour - We enjoyed the local snacks and drinks at bar in Sal Rei as well as the trip to shipwreck and desert. Anita was literally a no-stress guide who provided the right information at the right time. It was a small party of just four, including us, really helped to know what we exactly wanted.

Brilliant, local tour company - highly recommended! - We went snorkelling in Gatas Bay and quad biking around the north of the island with Rotcha Tours and on both occasions we had an absolutely brilliant experience. All the staff and guides were very friendly and informative, and we learnt a lot about Cape Verdian life which was a real bonus. I can not recommend this tour company highly enough. Book direct (cheaper than through the holiday companies) - great comms. You’ll have a great time! Thank you Rotcha Tours 🙏

Amazing - We had an amazing trip with Anita and everyone who works for Rocha Tours. Excellent service. So happy we booked this trip, we got to see the capital city, the shipwreck, the pottery shop in Rabil and Viana dessert. It was great, fully recommend this trip.

Very nice sand dunes, shipwreck ok. The guides should be more talkative about the locations - We really loved the desert and the sandboarding experience. The shipwreck was nice, although not mind blowing. What should be improved is the poor description of the cities by the guides. They told us very little about Boa Vista or Sal Rei

Interesting - We were on a bus , an half a day trip. The wreck was not included in the stops, we just watched it from the beach. It looks interesting, we're going to book the tour to it soon, I think it's worth.
