For those on a tight schedule in Cape Town, we’ve combined the top attractions into a single day Scheduled Tour of Table Mountain, Boulder’s Penguins, and Cape of Good Hope. A visit to Cape Town is incomplete without seeing the Cape of Good Hope, much like Paris without the Eiffel Tower experience.
This tour includes:
A quick sightseeing tour of the city center while driving by;
Stopping at Bo-Kaap for a picture against the backdrop of vibrant houses;
Experiencing Table Mountain via the Cable Car;
Enjoying a drive across Chapman’s Peak;
Visiting the colony of African penguins at Boulder’s Beach;
Stopping for a snapshot at Cape of Good Hope and visiting Cape Point lighthouse;
Witnessing the colourful beach cabins at St. James Beach.
- Pick up time will be between 7:00 and 8:00am
- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
- The duration of transfers are approximate, the exact duration will depend on the time of day and traffic conditions
- We collect all travellers at hotels within 10km radius. Should travellers not meet this requirement, we have a meeting point from 08:30am at The Silo Hotel, Silo Square, Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, 8801
- Kindly note that if Table Mountain is not operating due to unfavourable weather conditions, the tour will continue. Should you wish to cancel further proceedings upon finding that Table Mountain is not operating, please advise your tour guide to drop you back at your hotel before proceeding with the rest of the tour otherwise we cannot give you a refund if you proceed with the tour.
- During the peak season from 1 December to 31 January we recommend you buy the Table Mountain express ticket due to high demand.

Beautiful day catching some of the main attractions in Cape Town - I had such a delightful day with this tour. Sylvie was amazing with her top tips especially for getting to table mountain early. Hakim was friendly and made sure we finished off the tour safely. It was a fantastic tour and a beautiful day. Thank you guys.

An unforgettable Cape Town experience - Enjoyed the tour and tidbits shared by Gordon. The ride on the peninsula was gorgeous and the views iconic. Gordon had great tips on where to capture the best shots and was kind to take photos as well. Really enjoyed the boat cruise to seal island, being at Cape Good Hope (which I had studied about in high school) and Table Mountain was an unforgettable experience, albeit colder and windier than anticipated (take a light jacket). Was also fun seeing the penguins and lunch was delicious. All in all a great, fun group tour experience! Highly recommend!

Amazing Experience in Cape Town - This tour was absolutely amazing and delivered on everything in the description. Our Tour Guide, Barnabus (apologies if I'm not spelling that correctly) was such a great asset to our overall experience. He provided context to what we were looking at and helped us navigate the various entry points to the parks. It's incredibly helpful having a guide who knows their way around and has the experience to make sure you enjoy your time.
Keep in mind, there is A LOT to see on this tour and a lot of the destinations are pretty spread out. That unfortunately limits the amount of time you're able to spend at some of the points. But the tour is a great way to see all the major sites within the day.
You will be responsible for paying a few entry fees, notably Table Mountain and to see the penguins. I highly recommend you have cash with you to make some of the entries easier as well as to tip the guide and driver.
Overall, I highly recommend this excursion as it is well worth the money and delivers on value.

Spectacular views - Great time and the company arranged everything well. The guide , Nathan, and driver were helpful and made the trip worthwhile.
You have to remember that their charges do not include entry fees. That’s paid separately.
Only disappointment was the place they take you for lunch. Poor service and not worth. Best to go elsewhere as it’s not included in the trip price anyway.

Amazing experience all around - We weren’t able to do Table top mountain due to the weather. Gordon, our guide, let us know as soon as he picked us up so we could have a backup plan. The conversation was great, lots of chatting, information, and fun during the drive. We were able to take our time (probably to his dismay sometimes) and see everything we wanted to see while at each stop. He helped take photos and knew good views to see. We got to try local foods and had a good lunch along the way. Gordon had water for us when we first boarded and worked hard to engage everyone and learn our names. Our group wanted to see certain animals and somehow Gordon was “the man” and made it happen! Our tour ran late but he still stopped when we asked to get one last picture. I have always had good luck w Viator tours and Gordon did not disappoint.

A wonderful tour - I had the pleasure of going on this tour with eight other people. Thomas was our tour guide and he was absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable of the areas.
It was a very long tour, but I learned so much and I got to see amazing views. I was a little skeptical at first just because some of the reviews mentioned that it was too quick and people suggested just driving yourself. If you’re someone like me who had no idea the area this is really the way to go. I would have liked to stay longer in some places, but Thomas timed everything perfectly so that we beat the crowds. Your experience also is different based on who else is in your car. So we had a pretty friendly group, which was nice.
Table mountain was closed sadly, but we were able to do other sightseeing!
Again thank you to Thomas for answering all our questions and also taking us to an delicious and inexpensive lunch!

What a great day! - Everything was very well organised, from the initial message with pick up instructions, to our eventual return to our hotel.
Gordon, our guide, was knowledgeable, approachable and fun to be with.
The small group size was perfect. There was an immediate connection, thanks to Gordon's amazing memory for names and we all got on extremely well.
