Great - The crew was incredible and tried very hard to get sharks to appear. They also went by seal island and we were fortunate to see some of the best whale watching ever! We were sad the others on the tour did not tip the staff, they worked so hard for us. Also, we thought we would see great whites and were told they have not been seen in 5 years. We did see two sharks of other types, but they were not abundant and it took a lot of patience to wait for them. The staff told us the best time to see sharks is during the summer.

Best excursion on Capetown! - I don't share a lot of reviews but these guys earned it! Setting up the excursion was easy. The day of, we walked in and immediately felt welcomed with a friendly crew. Very knowledgeable and excited to share what they knew. We went in August so during winter. We are told there are fewer sharks so we lowered our expectations. We went out with a group of 8-10. We had luck with sharks and stood in the cage to see a few. I was 12" from a sevengill shark. Crew was professional. The captain, she did a great job. We also visited Seal Island and saw whale's on our way back. Out of 3 shark boats we were the only boat that had them. Thanks to Capt Nina, Ernest and Jason. Best excursion in Capetown. We will recommend to others.

Stunning experience with sea animals! :) - This has been really a great adventure! We have seen a lot of sea animals: seals, penguins, whales, jellyfish and finally different sharks! We made a stunning experience in the cage completely in safe conditions, well managed and fully explained to us by crew.. the water was cold but manageable. All the members of the crew of Shark Explorers have been so nice, welcoming and professionals! We really enjoyed and strongly suggest to all lovers of sea animals.

Breath taking experience - The view and experience was amazing, the crew members were very welcoming with their jokes and made sure to tell us all about the marine life we saw, going in the cage and being in the boat itself were both amazing. Thank you shark explorers for helping me cross that off my bucket list

A great way to spend the afternoon! - We didn't have time for do a shark cage dive, so we went for an easy 'echo tour' up and down the coast. Stef, Nina and Earnest took great care of us, pointing out all of the marine life as well as keeping us entertained with their sense of humor. I hope to come back another time and get in the cage!

Highly recommend. Don't miss out! - Once in a lifetime experience! I felt safe the whole time, lots of explanations and encouragement from the staff throughout the whole process. They did their best to make sure sharks came as close as possible without me losing fingers. They even helped me charge my gopro that died on the car ride to Simonstown. There was also complimentary snacks and drinks which came in handy when I felt sea sick, but it was hard to be bummed with how upbeat the staff were.

Just do it! - So much fun! Shark cage diving has been on my bucket list for ages, and it was truly amazing. Our captain and guide were super fun, and because we had a smaller crew, we got a bit of extra time in the cages. We saw about 10 sharks while we were out there. Watching them from the top deck was just as cool as being in the water with them. FYI, the sharks are not Great Whites, they are Botswana sharks, but still super cool. Highly recommend this incredible experience!

Great experience - Crew is very nice and made the experience memorable! The team was able to accomodate last minute booking as well. However, the activity description needs to be updated since great white sharks have not been seen in False Bay in the last 4 years as per our guide. I would recommend this tour/ compagny regardless since we were able to see multiples bronze whales sharks.
