Highlights
  • Victoria & Alfred Waterfront - The V&A Waterfront is one of Cape Town’s most popular areas. This neighborhood offers stunning ocean views and easy access to some of the city’s best beaches. Here, you can catch the ferry to Robben Island, which is 11 km from the mainland and takes about 40-45 minutes by ferry. This is also where you’ll pay for your ferry fare and Robben Island ticket.
  • Robben Island Museum - Robben Island is located in Table Bay and is best known as the site of the maximum-security prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were held during apartheid. Mandela spent 18 of his 27 years in prison on the island, which has become synonymous with the struggle for freedom. Now a World Heritage site and museum, it offers daily tours. You’ll disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour on the island’s east coast and take a short walk to buses that will take you to various historical sites. Please NOTE that this tour is EXCLUSIVE, and you will need to pay an entry fee of R 550 per person.
  • Victoria & Alfred Waterfront - After visiting Robben Island, you’ll return to the V&A Waterfront, located on the edge of the city’s busy harbor. Here, you can have lunch and explore the mall, which offers a unique variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Please NOTE that lunch is EXCLUSIVE.
  • Bo-Kaap - Bo-Kaap is a neighborhood in Cape Town that has been around since 1834, marking the end of slavery in the Cape Colony. It’s a daytime destination known for its narrow, cobbled streets lined with colorful houses.
  • Company’s Gardens - The Company’s Garden is the oldest garden in South Africa. Located in central Cape Town, it’s a park and heritage site. Originally created in 1650 by the region’s first European settlers, it provided fertile ground to grow fresh produce for ships rounding the Cape.
  • Table Mountain Aerial Cableway - Table Mountain is a unique symbol of the peninsula, standing at an altitude of 1,067 meters above sea level. The cable car ride, which completes a 360-degree rotation, offers a spectacular way to ascend Cape Town’s famous flat-topped peak. At the top, you’ll find a self-service restaurant, Table Mountain Café, offering a range of food, drinks, snacks, desserts, and wines. The mountain offers unparalleled 360-degree views of Cape Town and is home to over 1,460 species of fynbos and animals such as the caracal, mongoose, and dassie. It has been a protected area for over 100 years. The quickest way to the top is via the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, but there are also various adventurous hikes leading to the summit. Please NOTE that this tour is EXCLUSIVE, and you will need to pay an entry fee of R 400 per adult.
  • Hout Bay - In Hout Bay, you will have a view of the township/ghetto called Imizamo Yethu.
  • Constantia Glen Winery - Constantia Winery, where the first wine was tasted on February 2, 1659, is one of Cape Town’s oldest townships and is famed for its wine. Located about 15 kilometers south of Cape Town’s center, it is considered one of South Africa’s most prestigious suburbs. The Constantia Valley lies to the east and at the foot of the Constantiaberg Mountain. Constantia Nek is a low pass linking to Hout Bay in the west.
  • Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden - A place to breathe and explore the Cape Floral Kingdom, the smallest but richest of the world’s six floral kingdoms. One of the greatest gardens in the world, it spans 528 hectares and features about 9,000 species of Cape fynbos, 6,200 of which can be found nowhere else in the world. The garden is part of the seven wonders of nature and includes visitor facilities such as restaurants, a nursery, a gift shop, a bookshop, and a permanent stone sculpture exhibition. This is where we will end our tour before heading back to the hotel, capturing some sunset photos along the way. Note that the entry fee is EXCLUSIVE, and you will need to pay R 220 per person.
  • Cape Town Central - Drive back to Cape Town city for drop-off at the starting point.

Robben Island,Table Mountain and Kirstenbosch Day Tour - What an amazing and busy day. From the Boat to Robben Island and all the history that it holds. To the amazing wonder of Table Mountain. The spectacular views and the sheer vastness of the Park it surrounds! Then to top it off to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden for a final stop. What a spectacular garden set in the Table Mountain National Park. Beautiful setting...... In between a superb meal on Kloof Street at Kloof Street House. And all hosted by the knowledgeable and delightful Roland. What a day and what an experience. Would have shot a 5 every time, but the time keeping was slightly out and it was a struggle to get it all in....But well worth the money.
