Excellent Opportunity to see the Best of the Cape - Enjoyable, full day with Guide and Driver Denver Zietsman who has a wealth of knowledge about the area. As a solo traveler, I sat in front next to him and felt like riding around with someone I'd known my entire life. Otherwise, it's a standard package tour so expect to be in a pack of vans with groups from other agencies. Only place it's really a problem is when arriving at the lighthouse and the majority of allotted time is spent waiting in line to buy a ticket and then to get on the funicular. Also, be prepared to find more tourists on the boardwalk at Boulder Beach than penguins seen below, but hey - it all comes with the territory!

wonderful trip and worth the extra cost - We were super lucky with the weather. It was a beautiful sunny day and the views along the coast were simply spectacular. Reggie, our guide, was very knowledgeable. He literally spoke the entire 8 hours of our trip. He provided background information about history, fauna and flora, anything guests were interested in. He stopped whenever guests wanted another photo opportunity. This is the kind of service one cannot get on the big busses. We were only a group of 11 people and bonding was smooth. At the Cape of Good Hope I highly recommend to climb up to the lighthouse and then walk across to the other 2 lookouts (a house and a smaller lighthouse). The view from the top is impressive.

Amazing scenery - Christian was our guide for this tour. He was excellent: very professional, polite and had an enormous amount of knowledge about the area, which he shared with enthusiasm and clear enjoyment. We felt that we were not rushed at all, we were allowed to dictate the time spent at each location and lunch in Simonstown was relaxed and in a beautiful spot overlooking the harbour. We also had plenty of time with the penguins and at the Cape of Good Hope. fantastic tour experience.

Day trip around the Cape - A one day trip is a great way for people with limited time to view the key features of the peninsula. Comfortable transport, knowledgable driver and lunch included.

Fantastic day - Superb tour with Basil our guide. He was very professional and keen to ensure we had a great time. Even apologized for the misty start to the day, not his issue! Fantastic visit to the Cape National Park, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Penguins were a must see stop off. Lunch included in Simon's Town, which was a good basic choice. Chapman's Drive is a must see offering spectacular views of the coastline. We did a private tour for 4 which is not cheap but great value. Highly recommended

A superb tour operator - We booked a cape point tour through the hotel and we were picked up by a driver who was not in a good way .his driving was erratic and the guide was non existent.he also managed to have an accident.
On our return to the hotel we made a complaint to the representative at the hotel who contacted the operator to make them aware of our experience.they said they will carry out an investigation and let us know the outcome in the evening.
The next day the owner came to the hotel and personally apologised for the bad experience and gave us a full refund also as a gratitude gave as a hamper .
This level of service I have never experienced anywhere.we were taken aback by his kindness and genuine respect and courtesy .and he could not apologise enough for his driver’s actions. He even offered a free transfer to the airport.
I am deeply touched by the response by this company and would recommend you use them .they are excellent and our experience does not reflect the other tours that they offer .
AFRICAN EAGLE THANK YOU VERY MUCH .

Stress Free Day Tour in Cape Town - We completed a full day tour with African Eagle along the coast of South Africa. No stress trying to drive in a new country, locate your destination, or figure out where to park. African Tours does all the work so you can sit back and enjoy the scenery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, interactive, and energizing with our group.
This tour route provided several stops along the way to explore scenic views, coastline, nature, marine and land wildlife, quaint city towns, local artisans, and the southern most point of Africa. Well worth the day trip!

The Full Day trip to Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point - The whole day tour in our trip was very rushed. We were told to be ready by 8:30 AM but our pick up was delayed by about 20 minutes. We were picked up by a taxi and were driven all around town to meet up with the tour bus. There seemed to be some problems with communications and by the time we met up with the tour bus it was 11:00 AM at Hout Bay. Then there was an optional trip to the seal island. By the time we left Cape Town it was already noon. We reached the Cape of Good Hope and were given 20 minutes there and then we were taken to Cape Point. Again it was rushed, but here we were given about 40 minutes. Later we were taken to a restaurant for lunch at 3:00 pm. We again had to hurry because we had to get to Boulders Beach to see the penguins.
This was a whole day trip, but it felt so rushed and frankly not worth the money. We would have been better off going with a private taxi. Also, this was extremely expensive and we did not get our moneys worth
