Such a Wonderful Whale-Watching Experience! - This was a wonderful experience. From our hotel in Cape Town Central, we drove to Hermanus Harbor. We arrived early in the morning. We had a cup of coffee and were briefly briefed about the boat trip. About a 1/2 mile from the harbor, hundreds of Bottlenose dolphins started racing against our boat. It was awe-inspiring. We took lots of close pictures and video. To our big surprise, two Humpback whales appeared, heading to our boat. Sighting was very close indeed. We also spotted a couple of Brydes, even from the cliff after the boat trip We did not have a chance to spot any Southern Right however. Learning more about whales and their behavior was such an interesting experience. Thank you Golden Eagle, thank you Southern Right Charters. Thank you Jean & Joe.
