Prison. Muslim Moturu Kramat shrine. Robben Island Museum. Table Mountain yellow frame. Prison. Muslim Moturu Kramat shr - a powerful symbol of resilience and the triumph of the human spirit over oppression. Originally used as a prison, leper colony, and military base, it gained global recognition for its role as a maximum-security prison during the apartheid era, where Nelson Mandela and many other political prisoners were incarcerated. Today, it's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular tourist destination, offering insights into South Africa's complex history.

Bad Start to an Educational Experience! - Started off as a stressful situation, when the operator sent a reminder email stating that we could not be picked up at the airport. The reminder email was quite confusing because our booking confirmation displayed the correct hotel and address on our original confirmation. I went back and forth with operator to question why notifications about an airport was emailed to me. On the morning of our scheduled tour, I called customer service to confirm hotel pick-up to curtail any mishaps. Customer service reviewed our booking and coordinated appropriate pickup at the hotel address provided. That was a bad start to beautiful tour. We truly enjoyed our tour of Robben Island despite the misinformation.

Misunderstood…. - I was expecting a small group tour of Robben Island—not on a big city bus. Said picked our group of 4 up at our hotel, took us to the head of the line to get on the ferry & then picked us up when we returned. That part was great but the added fees were much more than a regular booking. We would have welcomed a map, as well.
