- Cape Town Central - The Cape Winelands, in particular, Stellebosch is home to over 200 award-winning wine estates. Therefore, since this is a private customizable tour, we allow travelers to choose their own wine estates for tasting or they can follow our carefully selected itinerary.
A typical itinerary would be as follows:
Begin your day with a pickup from your Cape Town accommodations. Travel along the N2 to your first winery, De Morgenzon.
- DeMorgenzon Winery - Arriving at DeMorgenzon, you will taste 3 different delectable wines. DeMorgenzon is renowned for playing classical music to their vines, believing that this enhances the growth of the vines. It is therefore little wonder why DeMorgenzon won an award for producing some of the best Chardonnay in the world.
- Stellenbosch - Afterward, take a historical tour of Stellenbosch, which is the second oldest town in South Africa. Stellenbosch is also home to Stellenbosch University which houses more than 27000 students each year.
- Marianne Wine Estate - Next, head to the Marianne winery where you will enjoy a wine pairing of 6 wines with Biltong, dried meat similar to beef jerky. Marianne believes that biltong enhances their wine’s flavors. Marianne’s Floreal wine was hand-picked by Chef Gordon Ramsay for Nelson Mandela’s 91st Birthday.
- Fairview Wine and Cheese - We travel to Fairview Wine and Cheese estate and enjoy wine and cheese tasting. Guests may also purchase Fairview cheeses from the deli.
- Groot Drakenstein Prison - Drive through the prison that held Nelson Mandela, formerly known as Victor Verster. The guide will stop so that you may take photos in this legendary area next to the monument of Nelson Mandela.
- Franschhoek - Take a drive through the town of Franschhoek (French Corner) which is known as the food and wine capital of South Africa. This is where you will find some of the finest restaurants and wine estates with a French influence.
- Delaire Graff Estate - The tour culminates with Delaire Graff wine estate for wine tasting. The Delaire Graff is known as the Jewel of the Cape Winelands and you will soon see why from the moment you enter onto the estate. The Delaire Graff is truly one of the most exquisite wine estates in South Africa.
- Cape Town Central - At the end of our tour, we return to Cape Town for drop off at your accommodation.

Request Rueben!! - Rueben was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service.
Request Rueben and you will be happy with your selected. We even canceled another tour to switch so he could tour us another day during our stay going to the Penguin Beach.

Charlton is an excellent guide for the beautiful Cape Winelands.... - Charlton took us to the winelands and despite the rainy weather, we had a lovely day. Charlton is very knowledgeable and pleasant. He made reservations for us at a stellar steak house in Stellenbosch called The Fat Butcher- a famous, top rated restaurant. Do not miss the Meerlust wine estate- their Rubicon cabernet blend is one of the top wines of South Africa. Enjoy!

A great day at three great wineries. - As has happened in the past, the driver was given a later pick up time than was given to us. The contact number for the tour operator did not work and there was no response to the text sent to the tour operator. At 30 minutes past our scheduled pick up time, we became very concerned that our tour would not happen as we had previously informed the operator that we would have to shorten the tour so we could board our cruise ship. Very shortly thereafter we were picked up and the experience totally turned around. We are so sorry that we cannot remember the name of our driver/guide as he was everything we wanted from him. We had specific preferences for the tour and they were all executed to perfection. We visited three Stellenbosch wineries that were beautiful with spectacular scenery, excellent wine and delicious food. We had our first wine tasting at the DeMorgenzon winery. We then went to the Delaire Graff Winery where we had another wine tasting and a light lunch. We concluded our wine tasting at Vergelegen Winery. It was a perfect day. We would certainly do this tour again if we were to return to Cape Town and it provides an incentive to return. The tour is highly recommended.

The was one of the best tours I have had here - This was one of the most amazing wine tours I have ever been. The host/driver was very knowledgeable and shared each experience. He went out of he way to insure we all have a great time. I would highly recommend this trip if u want to experience a great time with people from all over. Once it’s over you leave with new friends from around the world. Take the trip. You will love it.

Great experience - We had a great trip. Very nice group of people and Reagan was great. Good driver and lots of information and good ability to adjust when one winery was without food. Ended up at restaurant in stellenbosch which was excellent.

Winetastic!!!! - Amazing wine tasting tour with Lucadel. He went out of his way to accomodate our needs especially touring with our 19 months old. We did so much in one day and made friends along the way. Can't thank Lucadel enough for making this tour a memorable one. Highly recommend the tour, especially with Lucadel.

Great guide for a great region - Our guide Ray took us to some absolutely amazing wineries. He was friendly, knowledgeable and organised a good spread of venues across 3 regions.
We started in Stellenbosch at Delaire Graff. The wines were phenomenal, our tasting host Danny was fanatic and it was a really relaxed vibe as we sat out on the front porch experiencing some truly great wines.
From there we went to Franschhoek and went into Eikehof Wines. The difference between the two venues was very welcome. Straight up the most relaxed host there, good banter, wines and meats with some of the best views yet. There was also a tame chicken, squirrels and an antelope? Which was pretty cool.
Lastly we went to Paarl's Fairviews winery where they have a cheese and wine pairing. Again a different vibe with great wines and food.
Over the whole day our guide Ray was relaxed and showed us what has to be the best these regions have to offer. Absolutely fantastic trip

Wine tasting in style! - Reagan was the best driver and guide ever! He took us to several lovely wineries and a perfect place for lunch as well. It was a small group, the two of us and one other couple so we got to set our own pace. Everything was perfect, even the weather. Highly recommend this tour company and ask for Mr . Reagan!

Catered to our selection - We selected four wineries-two in each region. The guide mapped out the best route and was accommodating. Would have enjoyed hearing more about the history of the area and the grapes.
