The Green Point Lighthouse, Cape Town, is an operational lighthouse on the South African coast. First lit on April 12, 1824, it is located on Mouille Point. The lighthouse was the first solid lighthouse structure on the South African coast and the oldest operational lighthouse in South Africa.
Cape Town Stadium (Green Point Stadium) - The stadium was built for the FIFA World Cup 2010 and hosts various sports matches and music concerts throughout the year.
Sea Point - At Sea Point, enjoy scenic ocean and mountain views. Sea Point is one of the most scenic promenades along the Atlantic seaboard. It’s about 11 km long and easy to walk, run, and cycle because it’s flat and well-maintained. It is considered the headquarters of the Jewish community in Cape Town and was recently voted the coolest place in the African continent.
Clifton - Clifton is the wealthiest place in the country and is regarded as the Beverly Hills of Africa. It is known for offering the best value in leisure and recreational opportunities for fun-seekers and beach lovers. The area includes Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton Bay, and Camps Bay.
Maidens’ Cove - This beautiful scenic lookout point is located between Clifton Beach and Glen Beach in the prestigious suburb of Camps Bay in Cape Town. It is renowned for its exquisite views of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, the Twelve Apostles, and the Atlantic Ocean. Dolphins can often be spotted frolicking in the water. Maiden’s Cove is the perfect spot to create sweet memories with spectacular photos. It is the best place to take panoramic views of the ocean and Camps Bay Beach.

Chapman’s Peak Drive - Experience one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world on Chapman’s Peak Drive, a winding road that hugs the cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean. With breathtaking views, dramatic cliffs, and photo stops at lookout points, it’s a route you’ll never forget. It’s one of the most rewarding panoramic drives in the country, if not the world. The drive hugs the near-vertical face of the mountain, linking Hout Bay to Noordhoek suburb. It has 114 curves over nine kilometers and stands at 593 meters above sea level. Tourists and locals often stop at viewpoints along the drive.
Noordhoek Farm Village - Relax and unwind at the charming Noordhoek Village, known for its laid-back atmosphere and artisan shops. This quaint area is surrounded by lush countryside and pristine beaches, making it a perfect spot for a leisurely coffee or snack before continuing your journey. The Long Beach is perfect for photos, and Noordhoek Farm Village offers refreshments, coffee, and small crafts and souvenirs for purchase.
Simon’s Town - Founded in 1679 by the second governor Simon Van der Stel, it’s the second oldest town in South Africa and home to the South African Navy’s base. It was a former British headquarters under the Commonwealth until the British handed it over in 1944 after World War II. You will have a view of the Martello House, the oldest British construction building in the country and the oldest of its kind in the world. It’s also home to the African penguins.

Cape Point Ostrich Farm - The Ostrich Farm near Cape Point is a charming stop along the scenic route to the Cape of Good Hope, offering visitors a fun and educational encounter with South Africa’s largest birds. It’s a great family-friendly experience and a quick, interesting detour on your way to one of the continent’s most iconic landmarks.
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Boulders Beach, located near Simon’s Town, is a world-renowned haven for African penguins. Known for its soft white sand, striking granite boulders, and crystal-clear waters, this picturesque beach offers visitors the unique experience of observing penguins up close. Visit the iconic Boulders Beach, home to a thriving colony of African penguins. Walk along wooden boardwalks to observe these adorable birds in their natural habitat. Watch them waddle, swim, and bask on the sandy shores, providing a delightful and heartwarming wildlife encounter.
Cape of Good Hope - A visit to Cape Town is certainly not complete without a photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board. Your tour guide will share history about the two beacons known as the Bartolomeu Dias beacon and the Vasco Da Gama beacon. The Cape of Good Hope is the most southwestern point of the African continent, with two currents, the warm Agulhas and the cold Benguela. Cape Point is the treacherous rocky promontory south of the Cape where many ships have come to grief since the fifteenth century. The reserve is an integral part of the Cape Floristic Kingdom, one of the world’s six floral kingdoms, with a treasure trove of 1,100 species of indigenous plants. The reserve encompasses 7,750 hectares of rich and varied flora and fauna. Enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic and False Bay coastlines from Cape Point. Spend time in the reserve, where you may encounter baboons, Cape mountain zebra, eland (the biggest antelope in Africa), buck, and over 250 species of birds.
Cape Point Nature Reserve - Cape Point is situated at the southwestern tip of Africa, running north-south about thirty kilometers at the extreme southwestern tip of the African continent. It is a promontory at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula. The Cape Point Nature Reserve is one of the most pristine and unspoiled places on earth, with dramatic cliffs, pristine beaches, and breathtaking views, a mountainous and scenic landform. At this point, most travelers take the option of a short hike from the Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point lighthouse. However, should you not feel up to the short hike or be medically unfit, the guide will direct you to the Flying Dutchman Funicular, in which you will travel up to the Cape Point lighthouse (fee excluded from the tour price). Cape Point is the official meeting point of the two ocean currents: the cold Benguela and the warm Agulhas currents. Cape Point is famous for the Dutchman Funicular, the old lighthouse, and the best viewing site of Cape Point.
St James Beach - Continue to the vibrant coastal town of Muizenberg, famous for its colorful beach huts and a popular surfing destination. Stroll along the beach, soak in the lively atmosphere, or snap pictures of the iconic huts against the backdrop of the waves.

The tour starts in Cape Town central city and drives along the N1 highway past the language monument outside Paarl. This is a 2-3 hour drive safari from Cape Town to Aquila. It is a 4-star family-friendly destination where you will experience a scenic 2-hour drive from Cape Town to Aquila Game Reserve. The route features stunning scenery, including vineyards and mountains.

Du Toitskloof Pass - You will pass under the Du Toitskloof/Huguenot Tunnel, which is unique and the longest in the country at 3.9 km long. The tunnel links the Paarl wine region and Worcester. There will be a stop at the top to view Table Mountain from a distance, the Cederberg Mountain with rare floral shrubs, herbs, and the fynbos, which cannot be seen anywhere else in the world but only here in the Western Cape.
Breede River - The Breede River, also known as Breë River, is a river in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Traveling inland north from the city of Cape Town, the river runs in a west to east direction. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the famous winelands of the Breede River, with the first catchment area of the river in the Skurweberg Mountain range close to Ceres.
