Cape Point Nature Reserve - Upon entering the reserve, we will leisurely drive to its tip, passing the Dias and Da Gama monuments. You might spot baboons and other wildlife such as Bontebok, Cape Eland, Cape Mountain Zebra, and over 250 species of birds, so keep your eyes peeled.

Cape Point - At Cape Point, there will be ample time to hike to the top to see the lighthouse or take the funicular before heading to the Cape of Good Hope.

Cape of Good Hope - From Cape Point, we will drive to the Cape of Good Hope, the most southwesterly tip of the African continent. Enjoy a walk on the beach and take photos at the signboard marking the most westerly tip of the continent.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony - Exiting the Cape Point Nature Reserve, our next stop is the renowned Boulders Penguin Colony along the False Bay coastline near Simon’s Town. Named for the massive ancient granite boulders, this picturesque area is home to around 3,000 charming African Penguins. A boardwalk extends from Foxy Beach to Boulders Beach, where you can walk on the sand and observe the penguins, but be cautious not to pet them as they have sharp beaks.

Simon’s Town - After visiting Boulders Beach and the African Penguin colony, our return journey to Cape Town takes us through the scenic coastal naval town of Simon’s Town, located on the eastern side of the Cape Peninsula.

Kalk Bay - Our afternoon drive back to Cape Town passes through the Kalk Bay fishing village, situated on the east side of the peninsula along False Bay. The village is nestled between the ocean and the steep mountainous heights of Table Mountain Sandstone.

Boyes Drive - Boyes Drive is our final scenic coastal road, climbing the lower slopes of Muizenberg Mountain and offering panoramic views over Muizenberg Beach for our last photo opportunity before heading inland. If time permits, the shark spotter may still be on duty.
