Bob found the birds, and Patti taught us new stuff. - Bob did a great job finding specific birds for the guests. Bob slowed the boat when ever anyone spotted anything and then got us closer. Patti had items to share all along but also on the return quiester moments she had shells and kite eggs to share. No questions were ignored and each was answered fully. We were traveling with Rebecca and Patti took it all in stride. I got to see ospreys and learned that they migrate separately male and female to different locations. Florida and South America. We have done this same tour several times, but this time was by far the best, even though it was late in the season. We even saw laughing gulls. Rebecca's favorite. The tank on the dock was a added treat.

A nice relaxing way to spend a couple of hours. - This is an excellent experience for serious birders. There are many shorebirds to see on this trip, and many opportunities to view them up close. Best to go during migration season, but an enjoyable experience any time. The captain and naturalist on board are very well versed in birds and are skillful at locating them and picking them out. You will see oystercatchers, osprey, various terns, rails, etc. The terns breeding areas was particularly interesting. A nice relaxing way to spend a couple of hours.

Worth every penny - Worth every penny. Got 3 life birds and it’s hard for me to get a new life bird in the East. Captain knew where to look for each probable species. Only 10 in our trip so it wasn’t crowded. Good day.

Although my wife is not a birder, she too had a great time. - My wife and I recently went on Captain Bob's birding cruise and loved it. Although my wife is not a birder, she too had a great time. Bob is friendly, amiable and a good bird guide. He was patient with non birder guests and we saw a ton of birds. He knew where to go and he had great stories to tell. We had a beautiful day and we stayed out a little longer than normal because the birds were so good. It was also a beautiful ride. We'd suggest it to anyone.

Birds Galore! - We had an amazing morning on the water. The boat pilot/guide, Bob was personable and generous in sharing his knowledge . We saw a variety of bird life and explored the maze of grassy wetlands. Well worth the price of the ticket!

Another great trip! - Captain Bob knows the area and knows the birds! He is very patient with all levels of birding skills and makes sure that passengers actually see the birds he is pointing out. This was our third trip on the Osprey and its better every time. The naturalist we had on board also enhanced the trip with great information about the marsh and its inhabitants. Thanks so much!
