Formed 290-296 million years ago, this rock was created by braided streams carrying material eroded from the Ancestral Rocky Mountains! Managed by the City of Cañon City, the secluded Red Canyon Park is a local favorite. Feel free to explore on or off the trail for a true adventure.
• Skyline Drive - This single-lane, one-way road ascends about 800 feet above the surrounding landscape. Despite sharp drop-offs, there are no guardrails, and the drive spans approximately 3 miles.
