Great way to spend a day in Uruguay - Great information about wine making. Our tour leader, Daniel, was a great guide - funny and informative. The meal provided was delicious, too. Overall, great experience.

Amazing - definitely make time for this - This was one of the best wine tours I’ve done. Daniel went into so much detail (in an engaging and entertaining way) and really got us to properly critique the wine. It was a very different tour to the ones in Europe. The lunch was lovely and the wines here are great too. The owner personally greets all the guests so it has a real family touch. Can’t recommend this enough! It was my favourite tour in Uruguay.
A heads up though, as with every tour in Uruguay they tend to run over, so for planning purposes the tour finishes at 4. It’s 9.30 to 4 so really it’s more a full day tour

Worthwhile - This is a nice excursion. Its not one of those big outfits, but that didn't matter. The group was small, the tour informative, and the wine tasting delightful. For lunch you shift over to a bigger, more heavily touristed establishment.

Fantastic wine tasting! - The half day wine tour was fantastic! We had Daniel at Pizzorno as our guide and he was super knowledgeable and engaging. He got the group involved by asking us to answer tons of questions. At the tasting, we got a very thorough explanation of the wines and the wine making process, along with pairings designed to enhance the experience. The lunch was also paired with three more wines, making this tour great value for the money. The only warning I would give is if you have a time restriction we didn’t return to Montevideo until 4-4:15 (not a problem for me but some on the tour needed to check out).

Lovely day at Pizzorno - Food was amazing as was the wine! Informative tour but wished we got to spend some time seeing the grapes outside in the vineyard.

Beautiful Winery, a must do! - Pick up was on time, Transport guide was lovely. Joaquin our winery tour guide was awesome. very knowledgeable, funny and genuinely a nice guy. Winery was beautiful, we didnt end up staying for the lunch only the wine tasting, but that was fantastic.

Amazing experience! - This was a wonderful day from start to finish! We were picked up for the ride to the winery - comfortable ride and some interesting facts about Montevideo from our driver. Then an excellent tour of the winery and wine tasting with Lucio - who was so knowledgeable and entertaining. Then an amazing lunch with delicious wine pairing. It was such a great experience - I highly recommend it!
