Put this tour on your to do list - Absolutely wonderful! Our guide Mariela was perfecto! Tons of knowledge and great at her job. Many people have commented on the price of the park fees, and while yes, it may be a bit more than going alone, having the guide and transportation was very worth it, overall we spent about $90 per person including everything but the food, which was outstanding!! Food truck at the cenote with authentic tacos. And the cenote was truly magical, rough road driving in but be patient and enjoy!

Spectacular day! - Everything was fabulous: the pick up and transport from Cancun, the guided tour of Tulum (wow!), the cenote (& the lunch we purchased there was one of the best we’ve had all week), and the ride back to the hotel zone (dropped off right in front of our hotel).

Second experience and wasn't disappointed - It was a great experience, my second time at the Tulum Ruins and at a cenote. Abby was our guide for the experience before handing the reins to Enrique who gave us a very detailed history about the Ruins, more than my previous experience and I learned a lot from him. At the cenote, our driver, Jesus was extremely good at navigating to the cenote and Phillipe, the cook at the cenote was just as equally good, my boyfriend greatly enjoyed his burgers. But as a reminder, yes, please bring towels and snacks with you!! I spent a good moment sun-drying myself.

Unforgettable Day Trip: Mayan Ruins, Cenote Swim & Great Hospitality - Our day trip was fantastic! Despite a mix-up with our pickup location from my part, they quickly adjusted and picked us up without issue which made it stress-free. The Mayan ruin tour was insightful, with a knowledgeable guide who taught us a lot about Mayan history. Abbi, our host, was funny, kind, and inclusive, speaking both Spanish and English. Our driver, Jesus, was excellent, ensuring a smooth ride. The cenote swim was breathtaking, and we ended the day with delicious food. Overall, a 10/10 experience—highly recommended! Our trip lasted from 8 AM to 4 PM, so plan accordingly.

Amazing day trip! - Abbi our tour guide was very on top of everything, always making sure that everyone on the group was accounted for and always ready to answer all of the questions! Jesus was our driver and he did excellent, making sure everyone was dropped off safely. He was also very careful with the bumps on the road to the cenote swim! Both of them made this a great experience! I recommend them 100%

Unanticipated mandatory fees and wasted travel time - We were instructed to be in the parking lot by 7:35 AM; however, the bus did not arrive until 8:00. Then we picked up multiple parties, many of which were late to get to the bus, and therefore we did not arrive at the Tulum ruins until 10:30. The guide there was very knowledgeable and informative. From there, we proceeded to drive to the cenote. It was a very peaceful place and not at all busy. This is where we were told we would be able to order lunch. Sadly, there was only one food establishment and it was expensive. It then took a long time to get back to our resort due to construction delays. But we finally arrived back at 5:30 PM. It seemed to be a lot of waste of time when we were gone for 10 hours that day and only we’re actually sightseeing for less than four hours. In addition, we were informed at the very last minute that we would need to pay an extra 750 MXN per person mandatory government fees. This should’ve been divulged in the original cost of the tour.

Large group tour that feels like hurried chaos. If don't want that experience, pay for a private tour. - Good parts: Maria our guide was wonderful. She had lots of interesting facts about Tulum and the history of the ruins. She also did a great job of warning us about the scams going on in the market place before the entrance. Lunch was good, the cenote was beautiful AND the time spent there was rented from the owner so there wasn't a bunch of other people there. I expected a bunch of buses like ours and for the place to be crowded. It wasn't! We had a group of about 30 people. Bad parts: It took a few hours to get there with all the people that we had to pick up. (picked up at 8:00 am arrived at the site at 11:00ish). We had to change from shuttle to tour bus to consolidate the group before we arrived so we went in to buy some water. We weren't told that there's no plastic bottles allowed in Tulum ruins site, so we had to leave our water on the bus. (no water for the entire tour and it was HOT outside) The whole experience with that large of a group was hurried chaos and we didn't feel like we got to explore the ruins at our pace. I would have booked a private tour if I had known ahead of time what it was going to be like. Lunch at the cenote is kind of forced on you, they don't leave you enough time to get lunch at the Tulum site. Prices need to be updated on their website, because Tacos or Burgers were $16 usd and a Coke was $4 usd. They told us that lunch would cost $15 usd. Not the end of the world, but if all you brought was $15 to avoid carrying extra money around you wouldn't have been able to eat lunch and there was no where else to go.
