Our guide will take you to the shore of the beach to enter the sea on foot with snorkeling equipment on (mask, snorkel tube and life jacket). The tour begins with a swim.
You will visit the official swimming circuit pre-established by CONANP within the National Park and protected natural area. You will be able to observe green turtles, tropical fish, rays and other marine organisms that inhabit the reef. Even though it is your first experience swimming in the open sea, you will be guaranteed fun and turtle sightings. Feel free to ask about what you see, you will always be accompanied by a professional. Excellent service distinguishes us by considering the safety of our clients and their needs as paramount.

The guide is a certified professional in diving (Divemaster and Guide) and Biology. This is an activity that guarantees you will see green turtles in their natural habitat. Remember that they are free animals and therefore wild.
You will always be advised on the use and technique for snorkeling.

From the Cancun-Tulum Federal Highway, go to Reforma Agraria street and continue straight on. Arrive at the white arch that says: "Las Casitas, Akumal" and cross. Continue approx. 50m. until the entrance of the Akumal National Park, there our guide will wait for you to give access to the beach.

Brilliant experience. 5 star - Really excellent trip with Darwin, a fantastic guide. Can't recommend these guys enough. Very well organised. Darwin was at the meeting point when he said he would be and was very patient with our two kids (aged 10 and 7). He also took lots of beautiful photos and videos for us and sent them on later. We would use him and his wife Marlene again in a heartbeat. Book with them, you won't be diappointed!

Amazing turtle experience! - This was the coolest experience! Our guide Darwin was amazing and knowledgeable. We saw several turtles and were able to see them from such a close distance, while still respecting the turtles safety. Darwin gave us many facts about the turtles and other sea life we were seeing as we went thru. This was a truly private experience as well. It was just my husband and myself with Darwin so we could ask as many questions as we wanted! Darwin took go pro photos throughout the swim and sent them to us afterwards. We were texted a day prior all the info we needed to prepare and arrive for our trip and received quick responses to questions we had day of. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience!

The best possible turtle experience - Darwin and Marlene were amazing! Darwin was our guide and not only was he so knowledgeable, he made sure to respect the environment and others around. When you go to this beach theres lots of tours going at once, but booking with them gave us a chance to view the turtles as private as possible. He would find turtles that were away from the crowds. We saw 10 turtles, rays, and a barracuda. It was the most magical part of our trip. Make sure to tip him as well because he also goes to the trouble of taking pictures so all you have to do is relax. Worth every dollar!

An incredible honeymoon experience - We swam with the turtles today with Darwin who was absolutely incredible. We went with the expectations of seeing 1 or 2 but we saw 10+ turtles plus other beautiful fish. Darwin was extremely patient and informative, also very punctual which we appreciated due to the crazy heat today. Darwin was extremely respectful of the turtles and their habitat which was lovely to see. I would 1000% recommend. He also took some great pictures of us and the turtles which were sent over to us via email within hours of the trip concluding. Thank you so much for an incredible honeymoon experience to remember.

Fantastic turtle swim experience - If you are looking for an excellent value for money , personal turtle swim experience then you need to book with Darwin Zetina Huerta . We had an amazing morning snorkelling with Darwin on Thursday at Akumal beach. Great communication before, throughout and afterwards. Really informative and safety (of both our family and the sea life) paramount. Saw plenty of turtles and a rather angry looking barracuda.

Awesome Experience - Darwin and his wife Marlene are incredible tour guides. You can tell they are about the conservation of the sea turtles. Marlene was kind enough to remove a plastic cup left on the bottom of the beach and Darwin provides the snorkeling gear. I enjoyed that Darwin would explain to us about the ocean and the sea turtles. My group got to see plenty of fish, stingrays, and turtles. Best experience of my trip to Mexico. 10/10 would recommend everybody booking with them. I can’t thank them enough for this memorable experience.

Turtle tour - Absolutely amazing experience with Darwin and his wife. I contacted him direct and from the very beginning was fantastic. Communication to smooth payment and booking. Fitting us in before hurricane Beryl arrived I can’t fault a thing. His wife Marlene met us off the collectivo (which was easier than I thought) and walked us through everything. Darwin is so knowledgeable and was a great guide saw so many turtles and so much more. Was so helpful with our newbie to snorkelling and made it such a smooth experience I definitely recommend Darwin for your snorkelling experience you will not regret it.
