Wonderful service - Happy shuttle did an amazing job for a great price. My husband and I took a trip to visit Playa Del Carmen for Labor Day weekend. We use happy shuttle to pick us up from the Cancun airport. They were very easy to find hardly any wait time. Took our luggage to the private ride for two. When it was time to return to the airport, they were right on time at the hotel; again great service!!!

Very reliable & professional - Very reliable! We did round trip from airport to playa del Carmen, drivers were professional and courteous. Always on time. We requested a car seat and they had one available for both going and coming. Very happy with Happy Shuttle. They will always be our go to for transportation in Cancun and surrounding areas!

Incredible Company - Incredible group. We had our already scheduled transportation with another company cancel on us the day before we were leaving home. We contacted Happy Shuttle and they were so accommodating and helpful. Upon arrival at the airport, we found their booth, they had all our information and had us in their van and on our way to the hotel with 20 minutes. The same on hotel pick up - they arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled pick up time, made sure we were all comfortable and we were on our way to the airport. These folks are dependable, on time, affordable and so friendly. We will definitely use them again.

Good First Impression, Disappointing Return Ride - When we arrived in Cancun, the staff greeting us were friendly, and our driver was excellent—helpful with the luggage, personable, and a great start to our trip. Unfortunately, the pick-up experience for our return was very different. While the driver was cordial, I was unhappy with how he handled our luggage at the airport drop-off, placing it right beside the car in an area with incoming traffic instead of safely on the sidewalk. As I was moving the bags to safety, he began backing up around us, which felt both careless and unsafe. Although my kids (ages 2 and 5) were standing on the sidewalk, I could see the worry on their faces as I struggled to haul the luggage out of the traffic zone while the driver was attempting to back out. Thankfully, my husband and I were both present so one of us could watch the kids. I regretted tipping him afterward -the only reason I considered a tip was because the drive was long- but even so, this was the first time in all my years of hiring private transportation (in Mexico and abroad) that I’ve experienced such disregard for passenger safety. It was a disappointing end to what had otherwise been a positive first impression.

Disappointed with Return Service – Would Not Recommend - Disappointed with Return Service – Would Not Recommend I made a reservation with Happy Shuttle Cancun on June 16 for a private round-trip car service from Cancun Airport to the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal. Upon arrival, everything went smoothly—the driver was on time, courteous, and professional. Unfortunately, our return experience was the complete opposite. We arrived at the ferry terminal in Playa del Carmen just after 4 PM for a 5 PM pickup. I had a photo of the driver and our designated meeting point, so we waited there well ahead of time. However, by 5 PM, our driver was nowhere to be found. I didn’t have an international calling plan, but thankfully someone nearby let me use their phone to contact customer service. The representative I spoke with was extremely rude and dismissive. Despite providing my confirmation number, it took him over 12 minutes to locate my reservation. He eventually found it using my email address and informed me that the driver had already left after waiting just 10 minutes—before our actual pickup time. I explained that we had been at the meeting spot early, but he refused to help and instead offered to “initiate a new service,” at an additional cost. We were three young women, stranded in Playa del Carmen with four suitcases, feeling uncomfortable and unsafe as aggressive drivers approached us. I asked about a refund and was told no. Since then, I’ve gone back and forth with the company via email with no resolution. Their policy does mention no refunds for no-shows—but we were not a no-show. While the arrival was excellent, the lack of accountability and poor customer service on the return leg was deeply disappointing. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Happy Shuttle Cancun. Proceed with caution if you decide to book with them.
