Definitely worth visiting - Before i talk about how amazing this trip was, PLEASE DO NOT USE YOUR CARDS, DO NOT TAP at the island or anywhere close USE CASH ONLY.
NOW, the trip was great, the experience was smooth from communications, pick up to activities, the host guide made was incredible, the snorkeling, the water was super clean the sand…. The island is definitely worth visiting, it takes you to a different era of Mexico.
The only thing I didn’t like was the staff (not the main guide) like the bar tender and some others, their tones and the way they acted with guests felt like they were forced to be there, and me having a business myself, that’s not the way to talk to clients nor the face expressions you give them. 😊

Sunset from the Catamaran - Excellent catamaran ride to see the sunset. Our guide Arturo, the crew, the boat, and the service were top-notch.

A fantastic way to spend the day and enjoy snorkeling and Mujeres - An absolutely fantastic day, worth every penny (plus a bit more to tip the great boat crew)
Firstly pick up from the hotel (sandos, just north of PDC) was simple and easy, we were met with a driver in the lobby who took us to another Cancun adventures driver, who obviously must cover the Cancun area, from their it was hassle free to the docks.
Check in was easy and they have a really reasonably priced bar and shop if you so wish while you wait.
Our guide for the day was Caesar, on boat 4 (March 24th) and they made the whole experience brilliant. The snorkeling was fantastic, Ceaser took us through a small reef and to the underwater museum, guiding us along the way and telling us about the fish and coral we saw. The sea life if incredible for a popular section of reef, in the 30mins we were out I saw (amongst the normal stock) a sea turtle and 2 lion fish.
The cruise part was all you could hope for. Gorgeous water's, regular drinks and the lunch (sandwiches, fruits and snacks) was top tier. Probably the best sandwich I've had so far in Mexico.
The time around Isla mujeres was as you would expect from a tourist heavy island, but all the street sellers seem respectful of a polite "no, gracias". We did stop for a delicious margarita down a street near the north beach, so 100% worth the walk around to see what suits your needs.
The boat ride back was equally as enjoyable as the outward trip, stunning views, clear waters and we even passed yet another sea turtle doing his thing, but it was gorgeous to see out In the wild.
It's also worth noting how great the transfer back was. Our driver was Flacon, and he also needs a special thanks, he had the mini bus stocked with beers, water, sandwiches and snacks, and even stopped for a bathroom break between Cancun and PDC should anyone have needed it.
We looked at a lot of different snorkeling/mujeres trips to find the right one for us, and this one offered by Cancun adventures was spot on, great price, great team, no hidden extra costs (docking fee etc) just a well organised, enjoyable day trip

A tale of two halfs - It was a longer day than we originally planned, as we didnt factor how long the transfer to the catermeran was (1.5 hours there and obviously 1.5 back which was too long.) Although our driver was lovely.
The guys on the catermeran were also lovely, the boat was beautiful. However when it came to snorkeling, our guide was amazing but our group was too big, people were crashing into me no matter how hard I tried to get away from them...then many more boats with swimmers came., all trying to get to the same place....it scared me and many others, I felt unsafe, this was in no way a reflection on our guide.
The isle of majures itself was not tranquil.
It was madness on the main street, petrol driven buggies in abundance again not safe, hassled from one shop to another, with the usual line of ,'hello I am your waiter on my day off, would you like to..." please!!! We Couldn't wait to get back on the catermeran and start the long journey home. But again can I stress the catermeran ride was lovely and the crew were generous with the drinks.....just too much hassel and too long a day for a little badly over subscribed snorkel ...so by in large im sorry to say I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
The isle of hassle & petrol buggies (if you have asthma do not step foot on this island)

It could be a good experience... instead... from acceptance to the all mediocre dining experience - Hotel pickup not from the Cancún Adventure company but from another. No water or snacks on board.
We arrive at the embarkation point and after 30 minutes of waiting in the sun we board our prestigious boat. The bracelet reads ÉLITE CHAMPAGNE CATAMARAN. Few instructions and we are sailing for snorkeling. We are ‘dived’ along with six other seven catamarans of people screaming right and left not to get lost in the middle of the Caribbean Sea and we follow an unprecise 15’ minute ride and we return to the ship. The GOURMET LUNCH consists of a ham and cold cheese sandwich (no choice). The mid-level ber ‘open bar’. Quick bath in the waters of Isla
Mujeres and we are left on the island for 3 hours. So I'm back and done.

Boat Ride Good. Isla Mujeres Awful. Weather stormy - It’s a compact trip and they try to do a lot even on a stormy day. No cancellations or refunds, The staff were good but the experience was subpar. 2 hours at Isla Mujeres was definitely Not worth it. I would have preferred to have stayed on the boat but that wasn’t acceptable.

Isla Mujeras Trips BEWARE! - We recently stayed in Punta Sam and used this company to do a "luxury" sailing to Isla Mujeras. I will start by saying that the guides are really great and they are nice. That said, we had some issues. Right from the start before you even get on the boats, they tell you that when you dock at Isla Mujeras, you will be at "their" shop and have included merch that you can trust. This includes a jewelry store and tequilla tasting. When you get over to the island, they warn you of all the scams and yet, it seems they are the ones promoting one of the scams! The building is unmarked, but it comes across your credit card as El Escochin. BEWARE! THE WHOLE THING IS A SCAM. The jewelry store staff are very pushy and they lure you in by saying you get a special charm for booking with the tour group. While this is true (it was a tiny, cheap, turtle charm) that's how they get you in. The tequilla tasting is WAY worse. They lure you in while you wait for your boats and you taste flavored tequilla. It tastes good, but they never tell you the price of their things. When you look closer and they pull it off the shelf (if they get you this far), you'll notice the price tag is scratched off. Now, shame on me and it is 100% my fault for not asking the price or haggling, but they charged 7,000 pesos (not kidding!) for a 750ml bottle of tequilla! Now, I will say this - it is not the tour comany's fault that people like me fall for this. It IS however their fault for being in business with these pressure-sales, scam artists when you already pay enough for the boat ride. Shame on this company for being in business with and promoting these awful scams.

Very disappoining - The description of this excursion does not match our experience. Although staff was kind and the boat was nice, this is almost a ferry service to the tourist trap island. Plus, the gourmet lunch is a dry sandwich which we were given at 9:30 in the morning. Total transportation time for us was about 6.5 hours and not what was promised. Snorkeling was about 15 min and swimming about 10-this seemed very short compared to the description. Plus, while snorkeling we were not allowed to swim around and instead had to follow a rope and stay with a large group of people. I found this frustrating and very limiting. This is more of a ferry service and overall I found it to be stressfull due to transportation and the limited opportunities to enjoy the actual catamaran. Also, we were picked up first at 5:50 AM and dropped off last at 6:15 PM. Would not recommend this excursion
