Boating and snorkeling - fun excursion! - This was a super fun, excellent excursion! You get to drive your own speed boat (well, two people per boat so you and your spouse or buddy need to take turns), through open water, then slowly through mangroves area, then again through open water. You get to snorkel for quite a while where we saw many schools of fish on the reef. Was a very nice snorkel. Water was lovely. Then you boat all the way back again. Was super fun. You need to pay a $20USD eco fee for the protected park but if you do more than one excursion that requires it, keep your bracelet on because it's good for your whole trip not just that one excursion. I paid the fee to go scuba diving the day before and so I didn't have to pay it again when we went on this boat tour. The mangroves area is really pretty, we saw some herons which was cool. I think the name "jungle tour" is a little misleading, you are never in or near a "jungle". You just drive through some mangroves. Beautiful and fun nonetheless.

Awesome snorkel experience - We purchased this through AmStar. We really enjoyed this trip. Driving the boat was fun. And the snorkeling was well worth the trip. We liked that it was not a full day but a lot packed into a short amount of time. Estimate a half hour of snorkeling, the rest was driving the boat. Lots of fun and highly recommend.

Great day - We did the Isla Mujeres boat tour, which took us to a snorkel spot on the way and also stopped at a resort for lunch and some beach time before heading into town to ride golf carts. It was so much fun riding through authentic Mexico. After the tour was over, we headed to a diamond store where I purchased a black diamond ring, upon returning back to the boat I noticed that it was missing a diamond and our tour guide Christian volunteered to pick up the ring the next day on his tour. He successfully picked up the diamond and returned it to me and also showed a video proving that the diamond was real. All in all it was a great day and we had a lot of fun. We also did the speedboat tour the next day and went out to an area to do some more snorkeling, which was awesome our tour guide, Femin showed us lots of cool things underwater, as well as pointed out some fish and wildlife along the way. I would recommend aqua world for your aqua activities in Cancun.

unique fun! - Excellent and unique experience! Never figured I would drive a speedboat into the open sea with no prior experience, but the boats were well-maintained and easy to handle for the most part. Our guide did a nice job managing our safety both with the boat navigation and snorkel guiding. The reef was pretty but not a ton of marine life with only a few large schools of fish passing by. It felt fun and fulfilling over an action-packed 3 hours and we still had plenty of our day left to enjoy some beach time back at the resort. Highly recommend.

10/10 Experience - jungle tour - We ended up getting a private jungle tour with Serve, who has 33+ years of diving and snorkeling experience. He was so knowledgeable, helpful, and excited to show us the beautiful mangroves and reef. He pointed out several fish species, shells, and iguanas that we would have missed without his eye. Driving our own boat was also really fun. 10/10
