First time in Cancun, were Americans - This was one of the highlights if our trip. I was nervous about booking this because my wife doesn’t not like to be jostled. I was thinking that the boating portion would be too bumpy. It’s not at all. It’s totally fine. I was a little nervous as well that the boat would be difficult to drive or then it would be too nerve-racking. The boat is very easy to drive. I drove to the reef and my wife drove back. She had a fun time driving and I really enjoyed just being a passenger and drying off. When we got to the reef, we strapped on our gear and got into the water. It’s easy to get off the boat into the water you just drop in. Our tour guide Jaredh, was a really nice guy. His English was pretty basic, so there wasn’t a whole lot of talking between us. Which is OK, but he did give us instructions in English and we understood what to do and we felt comfortable. We didn’t really receive much historical information. But I wasn’t there for that. I was there because I wanted to drive the boat and I wanted to snorkel and see fish and see the reef. And we did. It would’ve been cool if there was a little bit more knowledge about sites at the reef as far as what we were looking at. But honestly, no big deal. I wasn’t there for history, I was there for the adventure. When we first got into the water, the guide tossed some tortilla pieces into the water and fishes flocked to it. That was really cool. I thought I would be nervous having fish all around us, but I wasn’t nervous at all. I think we snorkel for like somewhere around 45 minutes to an hour. The life vest made it really easy to snorkel for a long period of time. I tipped the tour guide 40 bucks, and then we took transportation back to our hotel. In all, I think this is a must do activity. I chose this company because they appear to be a little smaller. We did drive by a few other docs that had like 50 boats. This seemed like a smaller operation that still had really good reviews. And I was hoping to have smaller group and less boats. And I was right, good operation, very professional, and there was only one other boat on our tour. So the tour guide had a boat, another family had a boat, and my wife and I had that third boat. The smaller group was really cool.

Amazing jungle tour adventure - Amazing , me and my wife didn’t know how to swim at all and they were able to help us with the snorkeling around the coral reef we all had life vests on , we drove the boat as well with 3 other boats to follow and the tour guide gave us clear instructions, highly recommend if you want to drive a boat and do snorkeling coming from a non-swimmers , they made everyone wear life vest and gave us a brand new snorkeling gear and gave us flipper fins and they teach you how to drive the boat as well , the value was great for the experience they gave us

Good experience and fair price - Every good place provided a nice speedboat and snorkeling experience. Nice people to welcome you, asked about the photo options, very friendly guider “Jareth” who guided us end to end. Choose the short snorkeling route if you can’t swim well as the return route is opposite direction of the sea wave.

Great snorkeling! - My wife and I are from Wisconsin and we love to snorkel. We have gone snorkeling in Maui, Aruba and Key West, and this matched them all. Great coral and plentiful fish! Arturo was a great guide, and we got to drive our own boat!! Yeehaw!

Fun in the Open Water - If you are interested in doing something which isn’t partying, drinking, or going to an overly touristic area, this is the activity for you. Lots of fun going out in the open water on your own speed boat, spent ample time diving around the reef, overall a great way to get out of the resort for a few hours. Good couple activity, but would also work great for a family.

No time to stop and see the fish! - The staff and guides were very nice. Speedboats were fun. Snorkeling was the bad part. We wanted to be able to see fish, coral, underwater museum but it was more like a swim competition. There was no time to stop and see anything. It was not an “easy” swim so be prepared to work at it.
