Customer! - This trip with this tour group was absolutely lovely. The boat crew of Dos was so lovely and attentive. They gave us time to snorkel, a lovely lunch and had much knowledge about the island we visited! I highly recommend! Thank you Aida, Guti, Pablo and Chabela for a fabulous day!

The best excursion we’ve done - The best trip we have been on. I’ve been coming to Mexico for 15 years and have done countless excursions. We were on the ‘Marathon’ boat and had an incredibly great time. The crew was great, the food was actually really, really good. 10/10 experience.

Go on your own, cheaper and better. - Too long in a beach club with a dirty bathing area. They sell you a tour with golf cars already in the catamaran another 50€ and if you don’t make it wait in the beach club... the only good thing is the catamaran and the crew.

Terrible Experience, not worth - Terrible experience at the "Exclusive Amazona Beach Club", murky water, muddy, it is impossible to swim, terrible, nothing to do with the pictures. There is not enough chairs with umbrellas to find shade for the sun, service is ok, PREMIUM Open Bar, not true, drinks were more water than the real drink. The menu is not a PREMIUM Grill at all, only chicken was grill the rest of the buffet is not tasty, has no protection against the birds that every time comes down to have a bite, location for the buffet is terrible, not covered in an outdoor patio.
This "Exclusive Beach Club" is totally overcrowded, loud music, uncomfortable, noisy, very terrible experience, even the crew of the catamaran when they were promoting the golf cars, their sale speech was, do not get bored, and get the golf car tour, which was over priced, USD 50 per car is not worth the value for this "guided tour", do not waist your money when but it was better to lay down for more than two hours in that uncomfortable place.
It would it better to stay in the Catamaran rather than disembark in this place.
The Catamaran was the highlight of the package, crew was great, very nice trip but it was disappointing that people over 60 can't do the snorkel, this was never disclosed when you buy the package, terrible surprise for many people.
Also the "Priority Check In", doesn't exist at all, you will make a line where people from Albatros is trying to sale many things overpriced.
We were promised that we will have 1 hour at the North Beach, never happened, instead we were disembark at Isla Mujeres Pier downtown and were told to walk to the left 8 to 10 minutes to go to the beach, but also advised that we will be picked up in 45 minutes.???? Another scam.
Overall, do not waist your money unless you are ready to have a very bad experience. Stay in the Catamaran and go back to your hotel and use your beautiful beach at the hotel.

What they promise, is not at all what you get. - This excursion is a joke. We booked it through our hotel at $159 pp and there were 8 of us. We were told the catamaran had a hammock net on the front of the boat, there would be snacks, we would make 2 stops at the most beautiful beaches. How it really went was it took us about 1.5 hours (coming from Playa del Carmen) in a very crammed van stopping along the way to pick up other people from other resorts. We finally get to the catamaran and it does not have a net. Instead it has very hard wooden boards to sit on. The catamaran was VERY crowded. There was no room to spread out, dance, relax, etc. You had to just sit because there were so many people. We first stop to snorkel. We didn't see many fish but we did see a statue of somekind they placed in the water. Next stop was in a random area - where the water was very blue and we were invited to "swim" around the boat if we wanted. Next stop was at the beach club, where we were asked (for an additional charge) to rent a golf cart to tour the island. We decided this would be fun, but what they don't say, is all 30 golf carts have to stay in a line and follow each other so there really is no "exploring". After exploring we went back to the beach club and had lunch and time to enjoy the beach. The water and beach were ok at best. Sand felt slimy. Beach felt run down. The buffet was ok but there were a ton of people so we had to stand in line for quite some time. After we left and loaded up back on the catamaran to go to the other side of the island for the other great beach. Well, what that really meant was, they dropped us off in town, brought us to a jewelry store where we got a bracelette so we could use the restroom there and we were given 2 hours to shop in town. We wanted a beach, but would have had to take a taxi to another beach which was public so we decided to go to a local restaurant and just have a drink. Our 8 drinks costed us $150 USD so after our 1 drink each, we decided to just go back on the catamaran and hang out there. Even though its tied up to the pier, we could enjoy being on a mostly empty boat and the alcohol is free. BUT - when we walked back to the boat, the crew was sleeping and told us we could not get back on the boat until 4pm. So, we went to the 711 on the corner and bought a 12 pack of beer and drank it while sitting on the corner like homeless people. This excursion costed us over $500 for 2 people when it was all said and done. They took photos - send you a digital link for only $150. They upsell you on the golf carts at $50 each... The staff on the boat was good. Safety was a concern and the drinks were flowing. The actual excursion really sucked and I would not recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for a catamaran / beach / party / fun excursion - this is not it.

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND TRIP - This is not a "Platinum" experience despite the high price tag. The catamaran was crammed full. I was told there would be snacks and towels on board (nope), no towels at the beach club either, they gave us a 4 minute warning before snorkelling and by the time I used the restroom and put my gear on they said it was too late to join the group, you can only snorkel if you are a strong swimmer since the current is quite strong. At Isla Mujeres, they drop you at Amazona Beach Club--the meat was undercooked, and they wouldn't give us bottles of water when we asked. The meet up point in Isla Mujeres is a jewellery shop where the service was unbelievable rude -- I was about to buy something but I refused in the end. This trip is not suitable for people with mobility issues. I paid $155 pp for this experience (14 people). It was terrible. I had to pay a $5 docking fee per person in cash. Just use an Uber + Ferry to visit Isla and save your money and sanity.

Horrible experience with Snorkel tour and tourist trap shopping area. - This is a scam company. We paid $600 for 4 people and only got 15 minutes of Snorkel. The rest of the time (6 hours) was horrible. They drop us off at a tourist trap shopping center. We have to walk 15 minutes to get to a beach and that beach was also horrible. It was a local beach, which means, no toilet, no shower, no beach chairs.... nothing... and the locals threw many trashes right on the beach. Imagine going to a beach without toilet, shower, beach chairs and seeing trashes everywhere on the beach? Do not buy anything from this horrible company. It's a Scam for sure.

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Waste of money - The platinum upgrade gets you a smaller boat with less people but still crowded. The rest of the package is no different from the basic.
Be prepared to endure endless upselling and the staff trying to sell you their own sunscreen, hats and phone cases. Which are all extortionate (20 USD for a 100ml). They tell you you can’t use your own stuff due to environmental damage to the sea life and being biodegradable. Most sunscreen is now eco friendly so don’t fall for this scam.
The snorkel is NOT a leisurely time over a nice reef. It’s a 250 metre race to get to the boat which has sailed to a position beyond where you were dropped in the water. The signs at the harbour all say 2 persons to one instructor but there were 30 people in the water (in our group, many more with other tours) with two guides. The water is deeper than any other snorkel I have done so not much to see and you are too busy trying to keep up with the guide who is constantly shouting at everyone to keep up as well as avoiding being jostled and kicked by everyone else. Getting back on the boat is also tricky due to the swell. Some of the guests were struggling in the water but the crew were more concerned about getting their snorkel and mask back of them than helping them out the water. Not safe nor recommended, we had a far better snorkel experience for much less and for longer out of Puerto Morelos.
Isla Mujeres - the first point of call (north end) was very beautiful, really nice beach. But you only have 25 minutes here.
The next stop - beach club is awful. The water here is very murky and full of seaweed which gets tangled in your feet. The beach club is old and tired. The heat there is stifling with no breeze at all so not nice.
The buffet lunch, despite platinum saying you get a better lunch and two different restaurant choices there is one buffet outside which is awful unless you like cheap hotdogs and spaghetti!! Hygiene is poor as birds are constantly landing on and eating the open containers of food.
Beware of the boat staff taking you to the golf carts without explaining it’s a separate cost. We went and were told afterwards it was 50 USD. Which they pursued us for aggressively afterwards.
The golf cart tour was poor and went to the south end of the island. Some sea views, and a plastic ‘cultural’ statue. There is a small park with more statues but there is a charge to go in there! The rest of the trip is through the town, past building sites and rubbish so not worth 50USD even if you knew you were paying it.
Definitely not worth the overinflated prices, overcrowding and awful food and club. Much better things to do elsewhere for less!
