Friendly and welcoming staff - Friendly and professional staff, everything was as advertised. Don't have a lot more to add, but need to fill up the characters quota.

Beautiful Trip To A Beautiful Island - It was a fantastic experience! My husband and I got picked up from our resort to the dock where we boarded the catamaran with the rest of the people. They had some breakfast options, and the toilets there were pretty clean. The catamaran ride was super fun with the whole crew in party mode serving drinks and dancing around. We were given a chance to snorkel in the ocean while the rest of the people stayed on the boat. Proceeding to the island, it was a breathtaking sight! We had a decent lunch buffet and more drinks upon reaching the location, and were given the option to either take a private cab ride around the island, or go for a small photography session with the sharks, or just explore the island. We ended up paying for the private cab and it turned out to be really fun! The driver took us around to some great spots and gave us time to wander around. We then ended up with the rest of the group at a point and had a couple more hours to explore around, went to a local restaurant and had a nice time there. We visited some local souvenirs shops and got a few things as memorabilia. We came back to Cancun in the evening while the sun set in the horizon. Overall would 100% recommend!

Great day trip 👍😀 - The day trip was really great. The transfer went wonderfully and smoothly. Arriving at the port, there was a snack and a drink after "checking in". After we arrived at the snorkeling site by boog, we had to...go into the floods. The guided snorkeling tour was great and there was a lot to see. The subsequent lunch was very delicious. The staff was nice and accommodating. Then we continued to the naval terminal...and from there to the beautiful sandy beach and then to shopping. On the way back, you really started partying with the crew performing. It was amusing and a lot of fun.

A highlight of our trip! - We had an amazing experience! The boat ride was super entertaining and we loved listening to Roberto play the saxophone. The entire staff made sure there was never an empty drink in our hands and that our needs were attended to. Rolando was a great guide and was super informative and friendly. We also got a photo shoot done which turned out really well! The photographer (Lucia I think was her name?) was so sweet and kind. The buffet was also delicious! The only downside for me was that the snorkeling felt a bit rushed and short, though I noticed a few external factors outside of the company's control that probably played a role in this. I had so much fun with everything else and still got to see some cool fish so I wasn't too bothered by this. My advice to others when booking this tour: 1. Do it, it's so worth it! 2. Choose a day when the Island won't be too crowded. We rented the golf cart but it was so busy there wasn't anywhere for us to park, so we returned it after 15 minutes. 3. This is a party boat, so don't expect quiet. 4. Don't put sunscreen on before hand if you go snorkeling (save the reefs) and if you want in depth snorkeling, this may not be the right fit. 5. The dock tax is cash only. 6. Bring cash for tips!

Worth it !!! - Highly recommend. We did Catamaran to Isla Mujeres and we really loved our experience. From the accomodation, the activities, the destinations and the entertainement. We recommend also to rent a golf cart atleast for 2h to go around Isla Mujeres and try to bargain.

Worth the money even without snorkeling. - The trip was perfectly organized and the whole team was good. Also the lunch was very good, lots of choice and very tasty, drinks as much as we wanted. We were particularly impressed by Playa Norte on the island, such a beach we only knew from the Dominican Republic. However, the snorkel trip is unsatisfactory: the place is completely crowded and neither the seabed nor the fish are worth seeing.

Tour cancelled itself day without warning - Terrible service! We booked a pick-up tour in Playa del Carmen scheduled at 9.30. The same day we had to call the agency and they told us that the tour was cancelled and no one had notified us.

Misleading Boat Excursion tour on 11/8/24 by Contoy Adventures, in Cancun, Mexico - We chose the highest priced trip offered to "Isla de Mujeres" Island, in Cancun Mexico... and the worse trip of our lives! 1. We were picked up at our hotel in an old 20 yr. + trasport vehicle and sat in the back, as the only searts left. The shocks were obsolutely gone! And we felt even the smallest of bumps! By the time we arrived at the loading dock for our cruise, both my wife and I experienced immediately back pains. especially myself due to my prevoius lower back problems. We attemped to notified the crew of Contoy Advertures when we arrived and spoke to three (3) different peole to no avail. We did take a picture of the license plate. 2. We went ahead and boarded the boat. The flyer we were given at time of purchase at our hotel, said that we would have a "Buffet lunch at their beach club". Obviously, we though, okay, it has to be better than the average buffet because its a "club" buffet! Unfortuneately, that was not the case! They took us to a small hidden area in the side of the island of Mujeres, where we had to walk 2 blocks, with unclean water, with a bad odor, surrounding the walkway to an area that had three (3) separate buffet areas outside with dried grass roofstops. The buffet choices were much less than a "typical buffet! No desserts, only ONE fruit (watermelon), no red meat dishes, and no alcoholic drinks to choose from. Not even juices, much less liquor as it was stated on their brouchure! Which stated a "National open bar with water, soft drink, beer, and cocktail!" We were after directed to a common bar servicing all 3 buffet areas, that did offer alcoholic drinks...but no cocktails! Again a "misrepresentation" of their package deal in PRINT on their brochure...that was given to us by the tour representative at the hotel. We were given one hour for the buffet & limited bar (which we chose not to partake)! My wife complained at the buffet that they did NOT offer and beef plates, and after 5 mins. she was given a dish with beef; after filling out a form and signing it of her displeasure! 3. They finally took us the the main beach area at the island...only to find out that not only did they NOT have any cocktails on the boat, but offered ZERO drinks at the beach area! They left us at a "jewelry store" inside, after offering offering one shot of tequila, and told us we were on our own for 3 hrs. and to meet back there at the "jewelry store" inside to return to the mainland! We had to pay for drinks at the beach and even had to par for an embrella! The brochure (which we kept a copy of), said (at the end of listing their benefits), "water, soft drink, beer, and cocktail",...which gave us the impression, "that the entire tour, we would have these drinks available to us!" Which of course did NOT happen and is 'MISLEADING IN THEIR AVERTISING!" WHICH IS TOTALLY WRONG!!! 4. When we returned to our hotel, the transport vehicle was a later model and very comfortable! We told the drive what had happened when we were taken initially to the dock, and he said,"oh yeah, when the company runs out of transport vehicles, they rent addtional ones to transport guests" Obviously, we were transported on a "used rental transport vehicle", that was at least 20 years old and in need of repairs!!!' 5. We complained to the independant tour giude at the hotel and asked him if he had ever been on the cruise that was offered? At first he said yes, then after about 10 minutes, he admitted that he had not been on that particular cruise! He did not offer to reimburse us, so we than spoke to the general mgr. of the resort and he said he would look into the matter. Later in the day, he came back and said there was nothing he could do, since the service was not provided by the hotel...only the independent travel agent who has a desk in the lobby (but obviously, is contracted by the hotel...and should be ultimately repsonsible!) 6. I have contacted my credit card company and have filed a complaint with them, saying I will not pay the bill! I then decided to write this lengthy complaint in hopes that you will record my complaint in its entirty to your posting; in hopes that other tourists will not experience the awful service that we had to go through at CONTOY ADVENTURES IN CANCUN, MEXICO. Thank you. Robert F. Rodriguez, US citizen from California
