Tulum and Cobá ruins with Mayan lunch and cenote - The tour included a lot of authentic activities, which was great. However, it serves more like transportation to each location as the only tour we had was at the Tulum ruins. We didn’t go to Playa del Carmen as advertised. I did like the authentic lunch, but you do have to pay for beverages and they are higher than normal. It is also required to have a life jacket at the cenote which is also an additional expense, along with transportation at Cobá (can rent a bicycle or have a tricycle driver) because you’re note given a lot of time there and it’s a distance between the ruins. Our tricycle rider was great and taught us the Mayan language but others did have the same kind of experience. Overall recommend this tour, just bring extra cash and be prepared for additional expenses throughout.

Great experience for an affordable price - Fernanda was a great tour guide who did her best to explain in English. She was friendly and made everyone feel included. She was accompanied by a great driver whose name I sadly forgot. Tulum is beautiful. You’ll have time to walk around and take pictures. You can walk around Cobe without the need of a bicycle if you’re in good condition. The cenote swim was amazing. They have a swing, rope to climb so you can flex and a place you can jump from. Food was good with limited selection due to the climate/environment. No condiments. Make sure you bring cash for drinks, life vests and tips. Don’t forget to tip. Bring your own water. Hydration is key. They’ll take you to Playa del Carmen 5th Ave shopping experience but who’s in Cancun for that. Make sure to spend your money where it directly impacts the local community and not Gucci or LV. I hope this review is of use to you. Safe travels.

The Cenote and Tulum... - The Cenote and Tulum stops were the best. There was too little time at Playa Del Carmen (45 minutes at 8:30pm) and too much time at Coba. It was as if they were deliberately delaying us at Coba--maybe the lunch wasn't ready or there was another group there? We did not have lunch until 3:15. We were picked up at 7:15. A lot of time was wasted between 7:15-8:30 while we paid the conservation fee. This could have been collected in a number of different ways. We did not have to go to a souvenir store for 1.5 hours at 7:15am. I would have rated the tour as being excellent if we had gone to lunch or the cenote after Tulum but taking us to Coba for 2 hours killed everything. The lunch itself was good but the venue that they called a 'restaurant' was not well maintained. There was no soap in the bathroom and no toilet seats. There were stray dogs running around. Drinks were not included in the lunch. They charged us $5 for a can of diet pepsi. They also charged us $4 to rent a life vest at the Cenote. Prices are lower if you bring pesos. You should also bring bug spray because Coba, Cenote and lunch are in the jungle. They sell a small bottle of bug spray on the bus for $12.

Tulum recommended, Cobá acceptable, the cenote they want to charge you up to the steps. - A visit to Tulum is recommended, an interesting place with beautiful natural surroundings. Cobá, although it is a less recovered site, but interesting nonetheless. My criticism is with the visit to the cenote, because they want to charge you for the steps. First, those who manage charge for the use of the float, an issue that should not happen since the cenote is included in the tour and the provision of the float should be free. They also charge a brutal USD 25 for some photos they take of you. My wife ordered a water mask and they wanted to charge her $80 mxn. The cenote is not much (a big pit) compared to other centers, where one can find a place with more care and with more alternatives.

Think twice before book. ENDLESS WAITING for the group. - Dont book this tour, you will regret. 1. They gave me 1 hour and 10 mins pick up frame, so I have to wait for the pick up from 6:45 am to 7:55. 2. Pick up happened at 7:15 to the meeting point. We actually depart at 9:30am. 3. This is a huge group, around 60 ppl. One big bus and a van. 4. It took 1 hour from Tulum site parking lot to the entrance. Cause we need to wait for everyone to enter the site. That cause tour in the Tulum has to be shorted. 5. English guide was terrible, if I don't walk with tour guide side by side I won't be hear antything, cause he was only talking to himself. 6. Endless waiting for others. That;s pretty much all for the tour. Waiting, waiting and waiting.

A rip-off! No stars! - I paid for this trip via VIATOR months in advance. My printed ticket said pick-up from 7 a.m. I waited from 6.45 until 7.55 a.m. The coach did not arrive, so I went off and did something else instead. Later, I got a message from the tour company, saying that pick-up would be between 8.20 and 8.35 a.m. So, I lost my money, but this is fairly typical of tourist services in Mexico. NO STARS.

Do not take this tour if you have a choice - I learned how much the “Diamond” package cost (on top of the “Classic” package that we paid on aviator) and what included in the package. Unfortunately I learned almost nothing about Tulum or Coba. The schedule was also not the best. We had lunch at 4 pm. I was hoping that we could have given more details during the booking so we can better prepare for very late lunch. I understand that the tour operator could not control the traffic but I think lunch at 4 pm was not due to the bad traffic. Prepare for a very very long day.
