Attention to detail - The coordinating guide told us in detail about the culture, showing complementary material and made the talk dynamic. The bus clean and conditioned. They give a bottle of water to visit the pyramids and it did us good because it was so hot. Some had umbrellas. Then the guide in Chichen-Itza also super complete. The food in the restaurant of Valladolid very tasty. The cenote was spectacular, although many people crowded on the adjoining ramp.

Well worth it! - If you’re thinking 12 hours is a long day, you’re right. But…this company definitely has thought through breaks and opportunities. The first stop, a Mayan artisan area, was a nice, albeit touristy, introduction, to Mayan crafts. Then Chechen Itza is just a wonder to see and the tour our Mayan guide gave was informative and interesting. The cenote stop thereafter was, for us, the highlight! It’s amazingly beautiful to swim there - unlike anything I’d seen before. (I’d been to Chechen Itza before so while amazing as well and far more significant, and my fellow travelers we truly appreciative of the guided tour, the cenote was my highlight. The break there was well timed and the lunch (swim first, eat after!) was quite respectable. The life vests are mandatory and really make the experience relaxing. The facilities (except the mandatory shower to remove sun screen, etc…which was a trickle) were quite decent. The final stop at Villadolid was too short. We ditched the taquila tasting (with our kids) and walked around the square. I would have liked another hour to explore. It may be our only time this trip outside the resort scene in a real town, touristy though it was. Overall, it was a wonderful and quite reasonably priced day (don’t bother with the all inclusive package - the price difference doesn’t make sense). Thanks to Tony (our guide) and Edwardo, our bus driver!

An unforgettable day - Beautiful experience, Rafa, our guide, was able to illustrate everything perfectly. The archaeological site very beautiful. I recommend buying souvenirs directly at the archaeological site instead of in the village first being the prices much higher.

Well planned tour, really enjoyed it! - Such a great tour! Antonio and Noe were very knowledgeable and very passionate about Mayan culture. We really enjoyed the dip in the cenotes after the hot tour of Chichen Itsa and enjoyed other stops. Lots of new experiences and memories for our family.

A must if you are in Cancun - A full day outside the hotel-ish Cancun. Cultural experience. Our guide Rafa was exceptional and so our driver Eduardo. Rafa knew his job , gave us a lot of information, experienced and likeable guide. Chitzen Itza interesting, a little below expectations. Cenote visit excellent, above expectations. Lunch not great but decent. Would love a full hour and a short guide in Valladolid, interesting little city

It was an incredibly long... - It was an incredibly long day. We spent around two hours just picking up passengers before even setting off for Chichén Itzá. It would have been helpful if the guide had communicated this upfront, as we felt left in the dark for the first couple of hours. There also seemed to be a constant focus on selling extras. For example, we made an unadvertised stop at a Mayan town just outside Chichén Itzá, which turned out to be a large gift shop—something that really should be mentioned in the tour description, given that we spent about 30 minutes there. That said, both Chichén Itzá and the cenote were absolutely incredible and well worth visiting. However, if I were to do this again, I’d definitely choose a smaller group tour. Having a full coach of people made it feel quite chaotic at times and difficult to follow the guide

Bait and switch bus tour, brought to scam tourist site - Did not appreciate an unannounced hour long stop at a random touristy, overpriced, and completely unnecessary site where we were forced to listen to stories about the powers of obsidian rock. After the stories, we were shuffled into a store to buy these rocks and other knick knacks at INSANE prices. I’m talking $75 for a single rock, $10 for a single magnet, and $30 for a small bottle of honey. Don’t fall for it! The entire stop is designed to have tourists spend money. It’s a place called Art Shopping Center. Look up the horrible reviews. I never consented to being brought here, it was never mentioned on the purchase website or on the bus until we were already there! Classic bait and switch and attempt to milk tourists of their money on trashy and cheap items. Shame on all these tour companies for promoting this scam!

Scams and sheisters - Scams and sheisters abound! Starting with your tour guide.. they get commissions for selling you extras like having your "Mayan horoscope" (which comes out of a computer printer). They'll sell you on mystical obsidian that is grossly overpriced and who knows if it's authentic. Plus "shamans". Thats before you even get to Chichen Itza, which is overrun with souvenir vendors totally ruining the experience. Everything is for sale. The Cenote is nice, but the lunch buffet is not very good and certainly not authentic (the mole sauce is peanut butter and cacao 🤮) . But beware at this Cenote there is a tequila shop that tires to sell you bootleg "premium aged tequila" for $250+ per bottle. Trick is, it's not even tequila . Beware. Then they take to you a town with a "real" tequila producer. But again, it's a scam. Honestly, save your time and just rent a car with an audio guide from the Internet.

Tourist trap - DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR – Complete Waste of Time and Money I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others. This was hands down the most unprofessional, disorganized, and disappointing tour I’ve ever been on. The guide was more interested in selling side products and rushing us through "optional" add-ons, the whole things felt like money grab Its one of the biggest tourist traps, where you will spend more time in a fake mayan experience than actually the pyramids or the cenote. The latter two are spectacular and deserve more time than the fake mayan village with the gift shop. Anyways, you live and learn.
